“We had a wonderful experience at Shortt's with my engagement ring. I've been waiting to write this review for a while but wanted to wait until I was actually engaged! We were looking for someone who could work on an antique ring, and we were referred to Shortt's. Mr K's mother gave us a beautiful, heirloom ring; it was worn by both his grandmother and mother and is certainly very special and needed special treatment. We took it to Shortt's on a Saturday afternoon after New Years'. The ring needed some new prongs to keep the emerald cut stone safe and secure. It also needed lots of cleaning, resizing, and some repair. They gave us some really good advice about what would work best for this antique wedding set. We made our decisions and left the rings, but not for long. Shortt's took care of all of this in just a few days, for a very reasonable price. The ring is absolutely beautiful and we're so appreciative of their help.”
