John and staff was very professional and caring through our grieving process. They did a wonderful job with my father .. I'm so glad we was recommended them and I would recommend them to anyone who need their services. I usually don't write reviews but I just want the staff for all they did and that they cared enough to do all they did for our family

Our families have had multiple services conducted by John Bob and his family. Excellent service. Family oriented and home town atmosphere. Would recommend this funeral service to anyone. He or his family will do my and my wife's services without any regret. Known this family for a lot of years.

Winans Funeral Home has served Maysville, Ok and the surrounding communities since 1949. They take great care in providing compassion and assistance to families facing the loss of their loved ones. They take great pride in attention to details in the arrangement of funeral services and helping families any time they need them. They have a heart for ministry to families and always have their best interest at heart. They take the time to care for every need of the families they serve.

I would never recommend this funeral home to anyone. They are extremely unprofessional, and the people are very rude. They asked my sisters children to load and unload her body for the visitation and to load and unload flowers. They were being paid to do a job and didn't bother to do it right. At the funeral, they dismissed the people in a very unorderly manner, causing the preachers to have to move from one side of the casket to the other in order to greet people. At the visitation they dismissed the crowd before the time was even over, and a few minutes later we seen them at a pizza place eating. So pretty much they shut the visitation down early so they could go eat. At the cemetery, they lowered the casket, closed the vault, and started taking down the tent while a lot of family was still present. My sister looked horrible, and there were 2 different people at the funeral that worked at funeral homes in other states, and both of them said that it was ridiculous that they didn't take any pains to make her look better. We were very dissatisfied, and Better Business Bureau has been contacted. If you have to go to another town for a funeral home, please do. We have a picture stamped in our mind of our last memories of our sister that never should have been there, all thanks to a horrible funeral home.
