Beth at Chic and Sassy came highly recommended from a friend. However, when I called to book, Beth wasn't available so I made an appointment with Ladda. I came in on time and had a picture of the cut I wanted. Ladda was somewhat abrasive and described a hair cut that I didn't really want. She said she would cut whispy layers around my face and stacked layers in the back. I tried to communicate that I did not want that cut. She remained rude and abrasive throughout the conversation. I finally said, well if you aren't comfortable cutting short hair, we could go with something more basic. I know hair stylists tend to have their niche and I was feeling that she wasn't comfortable at all. She took complete offense. She told me she would not cut my hair, that I was ten minutes late (but I wasn't late.) She told me that there was too much talking and that she did not feel confident that she could make me happy. It's Christmas Eve and I have been holding this appointment for two weeks. So I asked her, you're really going to hang me out to dry on Christmas Eve? And she said, yes, I not help you. So I asked for info to contact the owner of the shop and she said that she is the owner of the shop. It's so unfortunate. I should have just held out for Beth. Now I can't justify returning even to another stylist. Such a disappointment.
