Tells me there will be only one hit on my credit report when applying for credit. 7 hits on one 4 on another and 3 on the final one. When I asked them to put in to remove their individual credit check, they told me "we requested the credit check so I can't". Well so did the others. Then proceeded to tell me they count as one hit!! Not according to the credit reporting agencies. Complete garbage credit scam. Do not shop here

Everything was great until we left the lot to go fill the gas tank, that the dealership said they would fill up, for the 2020 Expedition we bought. Ten minutes down the road, the check engine light came on and we took it right back, after filling the tank, and let them know. They said “if it stays on for a week, week and a half, bring it back and we will fix it.” Ok cool. Week and a half later, still on. They said to bring it back and they would fix it. They ended up having to take it to Ramco, who then said the catalytic converter is going bad, and has been for a while, and needs to be fixed. Janzen refused to pay for it which would leave the $1100 repair to my husband and I. Had we driven it just a little further during the test drive, the check engine light would have came on. I guess our bad for that. So this shows us the code was more than likely cleared at some point before we drove it, and was undisclosed from us. Yes, used is used, however, if you say you’re going to fix something, do it. We still have the car and will have to do the repairs ourselves, but lesson learned and we will not be going back for cars for both of our teenagers like we had originally planned. Sad because beyond that, our experience was great and I love my car. But I won’t work with a company that does not keep their word.
In regards to your response Janzen, I do not see it as worth our time reaching out because you guys have already refused to make it right two times and said “it is as is, we will not cover repairs”.

There were red flags buying our truck a year and a half ago. I'm writing this review because they ran a credit check on me after they confirmed the financing through my bank, that I arranged. That unnecessary credit check is a ding that is still affecting me.

Overall, the buying process with Janzen GMC went fine. However, upon closer inspection of the vehicle, numerous scratches and buffer rub marks are present in the paint. Did not expect to have this happen with a new vehicle. Will have to be professionally paint corrected to remove them.
5/25/24 - Edited to add: A couple of days after leaving this review, the dealership responded and asked me to contact them "so we can discuss how we can assist you further to address your concerns." So I sent them an email on the same day. No response at all from the dealership. Guess they don't want to assist afterall?

I had a great experience with Janzen GMC. I was searching for a new Yukon, and found out through the GMC website that the exact vehicle I wanted would be delivered to their lot soon. I worked with Jerome, and was able to put a deposit down on the vehicle before it arrived to claim it. Jerome was very good about keeping me up-to-date on the entire process before the vehicle arrived. The dealership gave me a very fair trade-in amount for my old vehicle. I will definitely buy from this dealership again in the future.
