“After getting stuck in a storm we had to bunker down to wait it out, no other places open for food we had to do the dreaded gas station food or at least we thought! The lady working was really nice and informative we got there at about 330am and she was preparing in store made food she suggested we try the biscuit and gravy with added potatoes was not what I expected it was really good food great flavor and portion size we couldn't have been happier thanks to the storm we had a great night in elk city”

“Stopped in after dark on a Sunday evening prior to car camping in the Walmart next door. It was very clean, friendly employees, ladies room was clean, and the store was well stocked with choices of small or large ice bags. Parking lot has an outside eating area that is nice and is well lit. Also had my morning coffee there the next morning.”

Their hot foods are better than most people's I've ever tried before especially for a place in Elk City”

“Well lighted area in front and around pumps. Visible cameras for safety. Employee was friendly, greeting customers as they entered store and thanked the customer on leaving with business done. Clean and well lighted in the store, areas clearly noted as fountain, deli, restrooms and other merchandise made it easy to locate necessary items for purchase and payment for fuel with cash for pumping with initial receipt.”

“While on a vacation to the Southwest, we had the catalytic converter stolen from our van in Elk City, OK. I found Big Elk Automotive and Exhaust on the internet. The owner, Scott and his team were extremely helpful and got us back on the road in 6 hours which included obtaining a new converter from Oklahoma City, several hours away. During this time, they provided a comfortable room to wait in which included a TV. Scott's wife also made us lunch at no cost. I found everyone at Big Elk to be very accommodating and friendly to the point of offering a private vehicle to use if we needed to go somewhere. In the end, we were charged a fair price for a quality job. I can't say enough good things about how we were treated. If we lived near Elk City, this would be my go to shop for all things automotive and I highly recommend them to anyone without reservation.Service: Exhaust”

“This was/is the Elk City, OK., U.S.A. Greyhound bus stop. I have been here a few times. They had Fanta Wild Cherry sodas on their fountain selectivity, so I got one, it was delicious, sure to satisfy dry mouth, thirst, each its own.”

“Many Museums along Route 66 ans this one is also a great place to stop and walk around. The inside is nice and clean with Cars and other displays that is appropriate for the era. People are welcoming and nice to get to k oe them , they have a lot of history to share with anyine who is willing to listen. The surroundings are appealing enough to check them out . Very well kept an a lot to see .”

“Nice gas station to stop and get gas at, decent selection of snacks/drinks and the restrooms were clean. Parking lot was large and easy to maneuver pumps. Off ramp from the highway is the most messed up I’ve ever seen, just good luck.”
