“We were traveling through Oklahoma in our RV. We hit a tire fragment on the highway, and our undercarriage plumbing was damaged and no longer usable.We tried several RV dealers in the Oklahoma City area but none would do an emergency repair. Ditto dealers in Albuquerque, our next destination.Out of necessity we stayed in a motel in Elk City, and just before leaving town the next day we tried Elk City RV. When they learned that we were on the road and far from home, they told us we could come in right away.They were smart and resourceful, willing and able to repair the damaged parts (which we had managed to salvage) as well as fabricate the one part that they couldn’t fix.Cost for the repair was very reasonable.Thank you, Elk City RV for your kindness and your expertise!”

“I’ve been working with Justin on repairing hail damage for the past two months. I’ve kept a close eye on how they do their paint and body work. From the body work, the paint work, the way they treat customers, Justin and his crew are some of the best I’ve been around. I wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t think they were one of the best, not just in Elk City but I think in the country. I’ve worked with several body shops and I’m very picky as to who I recommend. “I was driving back to St. Louis from LA and our car broke down in Elk City at 4am the day before the 4th of July. As you can imagine, the next day nobody was open and we had called literally everyone in town. Once they opened, they called us back and told us to bring it down to the shop. The part we needed wasn't at any store the area so the owner pulled it off of his personal project car to get us home. I can't describe how kind and helpful these people are. Wish they were in my area so I could go back whenever I wanted!”

“We were on a road trip to Cali when the caliber for one of our brakes broke. We would have been royally screwed had we not found Jay’s Brake and Alignment. There was no wait time—we pulled up, and they had fixed the issue within 15 minutes. Beyond being very welcoming and respectful (we were two female travelers), the mechanics did not charge us anything for the fix! I would highly recommend coming here for any issues you have in Oklahoma! David was particularly helpful (ask for him if you can!). Do NOT go to EC Auto unless you want to be robbed of both your time and money.”

“First of all - Jerry is GREAT. He's exactly who you want working on your RV if you happen to find yourself in trouble out there in Elk City/Clinton OK. Our 77 dodge RV was overheating bad and we pulled into the KOA campsite for the night. I knew I couldn't make it much further without it blowing up but it was a Friday night and I figured that we'd have to wait til at least Monday to take it somewhere. Good thing the KOA guides told us about Jerry. He came out to our campsite the next morning. After one look he diagnosed the problems, then left to get parts and then came back! Literally 2 hours later that morning we were back in business. He even came early! He really knows his stuff and charges a fair rate and ask for cash. CALL HIM and he'll come out TO YOU.”

“I was running to pick up groceries for my Mom who was caring for my disabled father and my grandmother, since I was just running there and back and wouldn’t be getting out anywhere- I didn’t load my wheelchair. My low tire pressure light came on just as I’m passing a tire shop on the way back out of town- I felt pretty lucky! I pulled into a tire shop on Main Street- there were 3 men in the garage area and outside, who I motioned to and tried to holler at, but they looked at me like I was trash, and just had really annoyed looks on all of their faces and just when I was REALLY feeling stupid for pulling in there I heard one say another, “She can go in the office.” So I googled tire shops nearby and luckily these guys were the next closest and would be open by the time I got there. I pulled in and called them- the lady I spoke to was so understanding and sweet, she came outside and directed me where to go. The guys who helped me were very sweet as well, and all the other guys working on other vehicles looked pleasant and smiled in passing, having polite conversation with each other and just had a completely different vibe! I know I did a stupid thing but I am grateful they changed my day from stressful and embarrassing to relieved with a renewed faith in humanity! It really turned my day around.”

“Gave it another chance and the automatic wash registered my vehicle's presence this time. Good basic touchless auto wash.PREVIOUS REVIEW: Automatic wash stole my money. Constantly switched between telling me to drive forward and drive backwards. Gently sprayed a thick coat of soap over the front quarter of my car, failed to rinse it off, then proudly proclaimed "welcome to xtreme car wash!" and reset itself.”
