me & my partner went in to get our passports for the first time and Ronda was very awesome. She was understanding and patient with us and walked us through the whole process. Took about 45 mins for the both of us to process our papers & get our photos with an appointment. Thank you Ronda.

Not having sent very much certified mail, Ronda confidently and efficiently walked me through the process! She was as professional as they come, and I couldn’t be more grateful she was there today!

Let me start by stating: IT WAS MY FAULT. Period.
I came for an application for a passport for my 12 year old daughter. I arrived twenty minutes early to our 9 a.m. appointment because I knew from a month ago their photo machine was "broken" (according to Walgreens across the road, it's been "broken" for at least a year and a half.) I knew there was a possibility of needing some extra time to have the photo taken. We walk in twenty minutes early, male clerk sees me in line, and mentions to me "I'm early," and proceeds to help the person on the counter. I just wait patiently until is my turn, even though I only have a simple question, which I ask when I get to the counter.
"Your appointment is not for another 15 minutes, Mr. Sun."
"I know. I just wanted to ask if your photo machine is still broken."
"It is. You can have your photo taken at Walgreens across the road."
We go to Walgreens and have her photo taken and printed. By the time we get back up to the counter, it's two minutes from our appointment. Same clerk asks my daughter's age, and then tells me both parents need to be there to sign. I probably missed that detail in the instructions somewhere. I call the wife, she's pissed, but she can make it by 9:30 a.m. I'm talking right at the counter, a mere three feet from the clerk.
Daughter and I move to the side as people queued up in line get helped, and we wait. At 9:20 a.m. there are no customers, and he asks me: "Are you waiting for your wife to go downtown for the walk-ins at ten?"
"No," I said. "She's arriving in four minutes here so we can sign the form."
"Sorry, you can't do that today: you'll have to schedule another appointment."
Turns out appointment slots are 15 minutes each, and mine expired. "You mean you can take us at 9:25?"
"No, I have another appointment coming at 9:45. You'll have to reschedule."
A month ago I did the same passport thing for my adult son. It took us 5 minutes, since it was just signing the forms in front of the clerk, and them making a photocopy of his birth certificate. Our forms are all filled correctly and printed out from home. I have everything they need (except for the wife who's four minutes away), and the process takes five minutes, but they demand I come another day.
The reason I give a poor rating and a written review is because the staff demonstrated - from my perspective - an extreme lack of grace. Perhaps there's a reason I don't know for all of this, but they did not attempt to explain or extend compassion about my situation. One day perhaps they'll find themselves on the other side of the counter, needing some grace, then hopefully they will remember this day.
Maybe.

Many mails are missing/ not delivered / delivered to neighbors mail box lately. Called the poland USPS office to report this issue, the lady who picked up said " its hard to believe" that this ever happened. LOL. I guess its the rudy lady sitting in the front office who is notorious to be grumpy. Lost a very important work related mail , and this is how USPS responds. Pathetic .

I went in for stamps and a money order, Valerie was the employee to “help” me. She was extremely rude and uninterested in helping me. She didn’t acknowledge me, she was sifting through things at her stand, back turned, without looking up but kept saying “can I help you” over and over. No way to know who she was talking to. She was rude about every aspect, but especially the money order. I wasn’t able to get my money order with my DEBIT card, because it came up as credit. I don’t own a credit card. She didn’t let me try again nor did she give me any other option and rushed me out of the office. It was not busy by any means. There were two people in line. I will not be back here, I’d rather drive across town.

Had to mail several packages and even though they were non-stop busy with Christmas shipping, the workers were very kind and nice.

I had a package missing and your post office sent me an email signed by the manager Melissa Melchionne stating that the GEO tracking states it was left in my mail box. The USPS representative was at the correct area where there are 50+ mailboxes for the complex. So what you are saying is that in a case where they are in an area with multiple mailboxes a mistake can't be made on your part.Wow that's such bad customer service and has lead to a horrible experience and lack of fact in our local USPS hub. Actually, the postal delivery representative did make a mistake. In fact they made multiple mistakes.Thank goodness for honest neighbors and not perfect USPS representatives. I received an email from my rental office Thursday stating that I have two packages waiting at the front office that were brought in by my neighbor. Both packages were from USPS. So not only was 1 package mishandled but two and on top of that I received my packages late due to your error but according to your email they were delivered to my mailbox and so I should have them right? Lol.Wow is all I can say to this horrible policy and mindset that you stand by.Enjoy your weekend!

I stopped in on 10/13/23(after I had a scheduled appointment for a passport at another location( Canfield post office ) to make a long story short . That day the Canfield ladies working that day were incredibly rude to me and cancelled my appointment bc apparently they said I took too long filling out my paperwork! I took off work for this…not to mention this was my 2nd visit /appt but was denied my passport bc the Canfield people gave me the wrong paperwork to fill out ! Anyways , after the worst customer service possible , I took a chance and showed up in Poland ! The two people working that day were so kind and understood my frustration and was willing to help me without an appointment ! I now have my passport in hand after a couple attempts . To the man and woman working in Poland that day !!!!! Thank you !!! your kindness matters! Your customer service matters ! I appreciate you both more than you know ! The. Canfield office made me literally leave there in tears! You guys totally helped me and deserve all the gold starts for top notch customer service . I took off work that day, have a young child at home and the stress the Canfield off caused me cannot even be described into words . I am thankful for the staff in Poland.

My mailman literally refuses to bring my mail to my home. My dogs bark, and run , they are behind a fence- my entire back yard and porch are fenced in. I keep the dogs inside during the time frame he usually comes, He completely skips my home even when my dogs are inside. Today I received an email that my package could not be delivered. My husband called because the mail man never attempted to bring the mail, the dogs were inside in crates because I was not home. The manager at the post office was extremely rude and told us that the dogs were jumping on the windows and that it’s a safety concern, my dogs were in crates. Id also like to know how someone who has never been to my home can tell me about the windows that my dogs don’t have access too? This is the most ridiculous situation, what a JOKE.

Stop putting stickers on peoples mailboxes because they have dogs. It is my mailbox, not yours. It is vandalism, knock it off.

Beyond a horrible experience! A staff member named VALERIE raised her voice as soon as I walked in and screamed " you do not have an appointment!" Without even asking for details. I found it very belittling, and very unprofessional. It was not even my turn in line and I was quielty and patiencing waiting and she stopped what she was doing to yell at me. I am not sure if this is just horrible customer service and bad training. Or if it was racially motivated as she spoke to me as if I didn't know English and could not hear well. Either way this behavior towards customers is not acceptable. I plan to file a formal complaint, and hope the office follows up with this incident.
