The rehab staff and nurses and nurses aides are all very good at what they do.The nurse practitioner and wound care nurse practitioner are very on top of things and easy to get a hold of and speak to for updates. There is a great group of staff there who really try to do a good job. All departments are willing to answer questions and update me frequently. I was recommended to try here for my moms rehab, and they are definitely living up to the good things I had heard about them!

The staff here is exceptional in helping short and long term patients. If you need anything and push the help button, they are very fast to make sure you are taken care of. Everyone I met here is very friendly and respectful no matter your needs. I highly recommend this facility to you if you need it.

Everyone was wonderful to my mother from the cleaning staff to the aids and nurses and physical therapy staff. After giving them 5 stars the cafeteria staff was not professional at all. The food was horrible and mom barely got what she asked for. We had to bring in eatable food.

People are nice. They help me out a lot. I got there confused and completely broke and bed ridden and 10 weeks later I can use a walker and a wheelchair to get around and I can think clearly again.

I would like to comment on how caring and friendly the Austintown staff are to our residents. The nursing team cares about the health and safety for the residents. The dietary department provides nourishing meals and snacks. The Activity department keeps the residents entertained and busy. The housekeeping department continues to clean to prevent illness. The management team is present and ready to help at all hours. Austintown Health Care is a great place and the star rating shows that. If you have a loved one in need of nursing care or rehab services then this is the place. Thank you Austintown.

Austintown Healthcare has a wonderful staff with caring aids and nurses. They do not use agency staff, unlike many other facilities. Many of their employees have been there for years. Austintown Healthcare is known for exceptional therapy to get you stronger and back home. They also have a great activity department to keep the residents involved on a daily basis. If you want a facility with quality care, then Austintown Healthcare is a great choice.

Great facility for taking care of your elderly loved ones. Staff is both friendly and caring and the building is always kept clean. The dietary department is a highlight; always accommodating each resident based on their dietary preferences and the meals are always hot and delicious. I would recommend Austintown Healthcare Center to anyone in need of a long term care facility.

Austintown Healthcare Center has the best therapy team to rehab patients after major surgery or illness. The therapy staff truly care about the patients progress, working to get people back home. All the staff in the building work as a team to provide all the needs of the patients. Many of the staff have been working at Austintown Healthcare for multiple years because they are dedicated to serving the needs of others. For many, the care they provide is a calling, not just a job.

This Nursing Home has a great team that cares about the residents and makes them feel at home. Each department goes over and about the call of duty to ensure that our resident receive the care they need; whether they are short term rehab of LTC. Great place to work.

The employees are very polite and caring here. Went to a Valentine's day party and the singer played a lot of good music and we enjoyed an ice cream social afterwards. They are having Irish dancers for St.Patrick day. They have games, exercise and bingo to keep us entertained. A nice facility.

I have worked for AHC for three years now. I strongly believe that we have staff that works very hard and cares about our residents in all departments. Being a nurse for 30 years and having worked in other facilities, AHC to me has been my most rewarding job. I trust my teammates and enjoy interacting with our residents who are truly our utmost priority and concern.

This community is dedicated to helping those who now reside. They have many forms of exercise, to include chair bocce, which appears a fun game, but has them stretching, laughing, and using their minds. Fun happens everyday here.

Thank you to the Austintown Healthcare Center for the wonderful recent care you provided me. The nursing staff was exceptional, as was the physical and occupational therapy team.. I am also grateful to the Healthcare Center for providing me with transportation to my physician appointment and to and from my home.
