Went there to buy a vest for my daughter. I was greeted by Shaye. She really helped me direct my focus more towards the jacket instead of the vest for my daughter. She was so friendly, kind and nice. Fingers crossed my disgusted loves the jacket instead of the vest.

I walked into this store to buy a Northface jacket.The reception was nice !I told the salesperson what I wanted and the size .This was where everything went bad …..??My debit card /credit card payment got declined and I tried multiple times .I tried Apple Pay too .The salesperson assisting me called for help from the Assistant manager .He tried to fix the problem but failed .Note :there was no problem with my card and the amount I was paying.Whiles the assistant manager was trying to fix the system,I had an idea to buy the jacket online using PayPal ..The name on my PayPal accout was in my maiden name and I choose the pick it up in store today option.This option was confirmed by the Customer service agent I spoke with .Her name was paulin at Northface over the phone ..Still in the store ,I showed the order number to the assistant manager ..All he needed to do was to confirm my order and tell me how long it was going to take to process .But he looked at me and told me a lie that the option I choose was a ship to store option and he still can’t give me my order since he would have to wait for the order to be shipped to the store ..Why would they ship the order to the store when you already have the product in stock ??????And I also choose the Pick up in store today option..Then threaten to call the cops on me because I ask him if he was being racist or racial profiling me ?I walked out of this store (Woodmere Beachwood location )with a deep pain in my heart Because I believe he racially profiled me ..The assistant manager racially profiled me ..This is 03/16/2023..If you are black remember to stand for your right anytime you come across any form of injustice…There is no way I would tolerate and form of consumer racial discrimination as a customer who is patronizing a business..

I give 2 stars just because the team were showing preference in helping and welcoming customers, as no one jumped in to ask what do i need, but then couple of customers entered after me and they welcomed them and assisted them with what they need.It's my first time I enter this location of The North Face company which is my favorite one specifically for climbing adventures, and I visit it everytime I go to different state.

Good merchandise selection. Price matched an internet competitor on the same winter coat that was purchased.Good place to shop for clothes.

Extremely poor service. Website and app not working. Go to store and demeaned for deleting an email but in reality their reward system doesn’t work. Even more reason to switch permanently over to Patagonia.

Ryan helped me today and he was absolutely wonderful. He helped me with finding the best fitting coats for my figure. He is everything North Face should hope for in a team member. Kind, outgoing, knowledgeable, helpful, witty, and a great conversationalist.On top of that, he is a good leader. When he interacted with his team members he was kind and clear.My piece of advice for North Face, you should really work to keep Ryan with your company. He is a gem. You can't teach passion.

I have used northface gear since the late 1980's: skiing, climbing, camping, mountaineering, backpacking, hunting, biking...currently live off a bicycle.Their futurelight fabric is amazing, 100% wind & water proof...yet breathable. The design is great, it is obvious they spent a great deal of time listening to people in the field.I had an issue with fit. Wanted to be able to put a couple layers of wool under the summit series pant (used the coat now for a bit more than a year). Ordered it up, inseam was good, waist was tight. Got the same length inseam, one size larger in the waste...and got a pant that was way too long. Remember the good old days when size was simply given in plain units of measurements. Needed to send them back.I had walked around a friend's house wearing my bike shoes to test, and the shoe put a bit of dirt on the pant leg (if i had noticed it i would have wiped it down before, but it was slight). The manager of this store was obviously irritated, judgemental and rude because of this. The gentleman working their was polite, helpful, in returning the wrong size & getting the right ones ordered.The third pair was the charm. Love them and the coat, futurelight summit series. Wish the lady at the store understood customer service better.
