Dr. Hughes and the team at Detroit Dover Animal Hospital have consistently provided exceptional care for my cats and dogs. Dr. Hughes is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly goes the extra mile to ensure the best possible treatment for my pets. Whether it’s routine checkups or more specialized care, I always feel well-cared for and listened to. The office staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful, making every visit as smooth as possible. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about both the animals and their human companions. Doctor Bailey is THE BEST!!!
I have 5 cats and we had 2 brothers who had unfortunately became ill.
Doctor Bailey was wonderful!!!!
She understood how scared I was, listening to all of my concerns and answering all of my questions. She’s so knowledgeable in her field.
All while remaining kind, compassionate , caring, and professional.
Our boys are better. And they loved Doctor Bailey! First Doctor they were NOT afraid of.
Today, our 2 new members of the family came for a visit.
We have trusted Doctor Bailey to spay and neuter our babies and they needed a check up.
Of course, they loved her too!
So do we, and we are so grateful to have found a doctor for our fur babies.
It’s very important to us.
And a special shout out to the wonderful assistants, front desk and all the people we encountered the last month.
You have all been amazing!!?

I will never go anywhere else. I moved and the distance was a bit further so I tried a closer veterinarian. Big Mistake! Detroit Dover takes their time with my pups, is patient with all of my questions and everyone is so caring and welcoming. Dr Hughes is the Best and Andrea is Amazing. They deserve more than 5 stars ? Thank you all so much!

We are so grateful for the veterinary care at Detroit Dover animal hospital, especially Dr. Hughes. She is kind and compassionate and has taken care of several of our dogs over the years.
