I went to Heatherwoode on Saturday Aug 10th. We had a 1:10PM tee time. The field Marshall that greeted us before the trip up to the 1st tee was super helpful and courteous. He gave us a great prep for our day of 18 holes. The course itself was very well maintained and very challenging. You can order food at the 8th green/9th tee box to have food ready to pick up in the restaurant downstairs of the Clubhouse. The gentleman that was in the pro shop that night was very welcoming for questions about the course and all in general golf. I will 100% be making it back here at least once before the season is over. This will be a yearly staple in our golf outings. This place is 10/10

Love Heatherwoode GC. The course is in wonderful condition, the greens are fairly true. The people are friendly and helpful. The pro shop is well stocked with supplies and up to date clothing . The golf carts are clean and quiet. The 3 wheelers look like a lot of fun. The course is challenging and a lot of fun.

Not the best experience. I had 4 gift cards I won and called in a week early to reserve a tee time. I mentioned to them, I had the gift cards and the set my tee time at 11:40 on Saturday and said I could use the gift cards, they also had a 12:20pm. We all met there and the lady said I could not use the gift cards until 12 noon and there were no more openings that day. So the only choice was pay to play or skip out. They were not flexible with us at all. So we left and went to another course for half the price. Heatherwood is very expensive. I use Heatherwood for lots of events each year, including a wedding. Was a little frustrated at the lack of flexibility over a 20 minute time period. I will also add that I was frustrated when they got rid of their kitchen staff, they were fantastic and now everything is catered in. Not near as good.

Very nice layout. Not too difficult for mid handicap players. Drains well after severe rain storm last night. Good facilities. Attentive rangers and starters.

We got paired with two singles for our 5:30 tee time which made us a group of 5. The round and pace of play took a while due to this. The round was not fun because of the pace of play plus being paired with 2 singles. We wanted to join the club but after this experience we will not be.

Normally play this course but they recently made their cart policy 18+ which means youth on course have to walk. I personally think this is a ridiculous rule as I’m old enough to drive a car but I can’t drive a cart around a golf course? Crazy rule change and I won’t be going here anymore.

Haven't played here yet. My son has been getting lessons over the winter. Everyone is really friendly, he says he's learning a lot and the coarse looks really nice.

Staff and course conditions are great, even this early in the season. I could have given it 4 stars for the geo fencing with the carts. Even though it was cart path only on the day I played, both of the carts in my group would stop while on the cart path. It was an annoyance but not enough to reduce the rating. The course has a number of tee box offerings to make it playable for any skill level. Greens are a great size and are in great shape for February. Heatherwoode is one of the top 5 public courses in the area. Great driving range and clean and comfortable amenities.
