We always cater our holidays & parties through DLM. Today 12/23/2023 I came in to pick up my order and there were no carts available, in addition to having to park in the bank parking lot (and it was raining!) Donna from the deli saved the day...she allowed me to pull up in front of the store and helped me load my large order into my car. To be honest, I was displeased about the lack of carts/parking but Donna provided the ultimate in service recovery. Thank you so much, Donna!!! You & your team are one of the reasons why I shop at DLM....outstanding customer service.

Jill, at the customer service desk, answered the phone when I was desperately searching for party-sizes rye and pumpernickel bread squares. She transferred me to grocery, but when no one in grocery answered, she put me on hold and went on the hunt for what I needed. It was a little Christmas miracle to have lucked out to have Jill willing to help me find something so small, but that is part of a very special family traditional appetizer that wouldn’t have been possible without her help. Thank you Jill!

A very nice upscale grocery store in a convenient location. They are a bit more expensive than your typical every day grocery store, but it is WELL WORTH it. The quality of the food is phenomenal. Everyone is always very helpful and the shelves are always well stocked!

I have always enjoyed DLM. I don't go very often anymore, but it's a beautiful market like store. They have a wide-range of food options. I liked that they have a lot of local items. They also work with local, small-businesses to get their products in their store. Service has always been great. Everyone is very kind and helpful. I love that they have a small cafe style place you can get sandwiches, pizzas, and burgers. The food quality is wonderful and they offer a lot of variety. One thing I wish is that their pricing was cheaper. It's a little too high-end for my budget on the regular.

Always good food. Always good customer service. Store is very pleasant to shop in. Plenty of various food options which you will find amazing and different from other stores. The store has a very inviting atmosphere.

Really enjoyed checking out it this store. It is definitely a place to go if your looking for something organic or unique. It definitely seems to be more on the expensive side when it comes to grocery stores. But a beautiful location.

While quite pricy, this place is worth it! The produce is always the highest quality and their offerings are unique. The grill is awesome, get their pizza or a sandwich - can't go wrong!

Great selection of speciality foods, but the service is horrible. For as much as they charge for items ( sometimes 3x what you would pay at Krogers), you would think they would try to make it up with excellent service. I have seen 11 people behind the deli station and only 1 person helping customers. Try to find help in a grocery isle is like playing where is Waldo. As for their checkout, they have children running the registers. That might be fine during the day, but on a Friday afternoon or weekend, none are old enough to ring up any adult beverage, so you have to wait for the one adult supervising all of the registers to free up from another register where they are approving a wine or beer sale to come over and ring up another sale. Their speciality foods are good, their bakery, meat and seafood departments are good and are customer friendly, but again way overpriced. Stay away from their deli unless you have 10-15 minutes to waste waiting for someone to recognize you.

Lots of people don't realize that besides the pre-made food items DLM has available in the main case, if you go back to the seafood and meat counters there is a grill where they will prepare pretty much anything from those areas. Tonight we had lobster rolls for about the 3rd time here and we are fans. Turnover time on food is reasonably quick and they will generally give you the tag so that you can finish shopping and cash out, then come back to pickup the food. Their mezzanine dining area is nice and clean and offers some fun people watching opportunities while you eat. Chi the Mazak one also has plasti-ware, napkins and condiments to boot.

Love this location. From the bakery to the meat department, they are some of the best in the area. The staff go above and beyond, and the isles are immaculate.

I really like Dorothy Lane Market. The staff has always been so polite and pleasant in all areas of the store. Never had a negative experience and was always greeted with a smile, especially in the bakery and deli. Food quality is top-notch. Love the asiago cheese bread! However, the prices are just too high. I shop there very decisively.

The food here is very good and tasteful and has an amazing variety of food. The service is always horrible and is never really nice. Every worker always has a problem with you and gets upset with kids for no reason. As a customer and friend of many that have gone here, we are all concerned of who they hire and let work there. The place is ok and beautiful .

Dorothy Lane Market is great. Their bakery, deli, meat, and seafood departments are top-notch. Their produce is always fresh, and you can find things here unique to them. Better than Fresh Market and Whole Foods. They even have cooking classes at their Dayton location.
