I've been coming to this particular Heinen's for 4 years, been a Heinen's shopper in general for twenty plus years. Today I stopped in for some supplements and something occurred to me - any time I am looking for something throughout the store, the only department where someone asks if I need help, is the wellness department. No other employees even say hello or speak to you, just the wellness department. This is true of every Heinen's I've been to. While I am not complaining, perhaps the rest of the store could learn from this.

I used to really love the store. It's literally right down the street from me. Good selection of food although most of the healthy stuff has been disappearing. The vegan session just gets smaller and smaller. To make things worse the security specifically targets black people in this store. I have been shopping for years and now go every other day yet I still get followed around by security every time I go in. I won't be spending anymore money here.

I love this Heinens, I really do. Great products, prepared foods, and produce is always fresh. I don’t mind spending the extra money to shop here. I wanted to leave feedback privately but I couldn’t find the website to do so without a code, which is not on my receipt. But please, please, train your cashiers to package groceries better. I have tried multiple different cashier lines and clerks and they consistently put soft things on the bottom of the bag that end up crushed. Or, they package items haphazardly in the bag. Today I noticed this happened again, (tomatoes and produce were underneath multiple cans in the sturdy bag I brought) and an employee gentleman came up to help bag groceries and I saw him roll his eyes when he looked into my bag and thankfully repacked some of my groceries. Therefore I don’t think I’m being dramatic when I say this is a consistent problem and not acceptable. Please train your employees better or advocate for the customer to pack their own groceries. I’d be happy to do it myself in a way that makes it sustainable for products to come home still edible and undamaged.

Very insensitive Staff to the disabled customers. Manger rude nasty! I am older disabled woman that was talked to like I was a common criminal. Me or my friends will not be returning. My friend who is 84 always complained about how the store has become a very unwelcoming place to shop. I over looked her ,thinking she was over reacting. She was not! Im in my late 60s . No respect or even cared to listen about serious medical condition. I can see why they are losing many customers. The prices are out rages. The least they can do is treat there customers with a pleasant smile.

The lines are always long. Don't ever expect to be on and out swiftly at this location. I don't understand why during rush hours at lunch and in the evening there are no just cash registers open. Please cross train some employees to ring register when the lines are long. I was the 10th person in the express line.

Ms. Vivian has plenty know knowledge of Heinens’ products. She knew all about the dressing in the salad bar. She gave a perfect description the dressings at the salad bar and described the taste of the vinaigrettes down to each flavor and ingredients. Very pleasant and warm. Love ya Ms. Vivian!

I spend at least 500 a month in this store, today the cashier advised me she was going to charge me 50 cent to use a container for my hot soup a card board container, I got soup and salad. There are no signs to indicate this and I spoke to the manager and the general manager and advised it need to be a sign if there is a charge for the container (my hot soup I placed in card board small box so it will not spill) Its not the cost its the principle, neither the manger or General manager was willing to waive the fee for me to place my soup in the container, they advised they will place a sign indicating it will be a charge. Not good customer service, the price was not the issue its the principle, what happen to Good customer service, I have been a resident of Shaker for 25 years if I have to drive to another location for good customer service I will do just that.. Attention Management, please increase your customer service skills when there is no signs indicating a charge for a container when I purchase soup and salad and its preventive to prevent a spill.
