The issue with neonicotinoids is not that there is "pesticide residue" on the plant. They are actually in the plant tissue itself, so if you care about using native plants as a host plant for our bees and moths and butterflies including Monarchs, do not shop at Pettiti. They are not neonic-free and they are spreading misinformation about integrated pest management on this Google review page. Even Home Depot and Lowes are labeling their neonics plants now!

It's hard to take this place seriously. I called to ask about whether or not Petitti carries neonicotinoid-free plants and if they do, whether the poison plants have been labeled. The grower I was connected with via your customer service was super vague: "oh yeah! Some of the plants have that." He also said it's too late to fall-plant perennials. I also found a ton of construction debris in some Petitti brand mulch I bought here. It's supposed to be shredded arborist wood, guys. I suggest going to a real local grower if you are serious about wildlife-friendly gardening and don't want to buy neonicotinoid-treated plants that kill bees. Unfortunately these retail nurseries often "finish" plants with toxic pesticides, so we aren't even safe buying their Proven Winners which are supposedly not treated with neonics! Even Home Depot is labeling their plants and working with growers to protect our bees.

I absolutely love shopping here for houseplants. The plants are always in great condition and the staff are super helpful and kind. The most recent time I went in, Dave helped me find a monstera thai constellation that has beautiful new growth and then showed me other similar varigiated plants they had in stock!

Been there several times and the signs don’t match the prices when you get to the register. The cashier said you need to read the small print!

When this Petitti Garden Center opened several years ago I, like a lot of people in this area was excited and hurried over to check it out. It was a poor experience and as an established Google Guide I left a one star review and vowed not to go back due to poor service.
However my family gave me a $50 gift card for Petitti’s for Father’s Day. I went over today and found that not much had changed, indeed the lack of service had gotten worse. I wandered around looking for something to spend my $50 on. As I looked I passed four or five employees, they looked straight at me and not a one bothered to ask if they could help me. While I was looking at some coneflowers a Monarch butterfly was fluttering around an nectaring upon the flowers. As I watched her she alit on once and lingered for a very long time. She seemed to be telling me to buy that one. After she flew off, I took it and two more and headed to the checkout, pleased that at least the butterfly was willing to help me out.

Was a frequent shopper until I had a question about a certain plant and the care it needed. I called the store and I was put on hold and then directed to someone in the lawn and garden section. This person was very short with me at first when they answered. As I started to explain why I was calling, I was rudely interrupted, almost yelled at so they could talk over me, as they said "wait wait wait, why are you even calling me when I work in lawn and garden." I explained that I wasn't sure why I was directed to her as I just called the store to ask for general care for a plant I had bought there. I use to love the experience coming in to shop but that phone call was really off putting.

They're always getting in nice new things it brings about the customer coming up with new ideas to decorate the home or give a gift. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They don't rush you through a conversation or anything like that, they take time and in detail to explain what you have, what's your going to need to keep it up and what to expect from their products. It's a nice feeling knowing that you got your money's worth for things that you have purchased

Very rude employees. They throw away perfectly savable plants and when asked if they can be taken from the trash or discounted they have horrible attitudes, employee was so distasteful and rough as sandpaper complete with eye rolls, huffing, and storming to the back. She then proceeded to say if even to take a leaf from the trash or floor they will prosecute you for shoplifting, mind you from the TRASH CAN. Just say no, it's that easy as it was a simple polite question. I won't be shopping there again, I'll take my business elsewhere. If it's thrown away just allow someone to help it, sheesh. It's not like we were out scouting for free stuff we actually PURCHASED your over priced plants....

Severely overpriced, some of the products they sell cost less than half on Amazon... Everything else they sell , costs less somewhere else.. guaranteed.
People who love this store must not need to worry about spending frivolously.
I've shopped here only after receiving a gift card for Petitti for Xmas ... Would never waste my own hard earned money at this place.

Where to begin… first place is as expensive as a designer bag store, but you get subpar plants that you can go down the road and buy at a much cheaper price. However, they clearly put a lot into their facilities to make it a more pleasurable experience. Problem is that their employees have the personality of a Karen that just got told she had to work a double shift.. I walk in and the first thing I’m greeted with is “we close in 10 minutes” in the most rude and dry manner possible. Not only that, but every single person in there looks angry and uninviting. It’s obvious at this point to say I will not be back. Wish better luck to the next individual who shops here!
