I've mailed dozens of packages thru here and they have always been super nice!! If you go in with an attitude, you might deserve some back?. Our carrier is wonderful out of Burton too. Deliver faster than OOPS and FED UP every time.

Went to take things up as I always do. Older african american male is completely rude and talks down to just about any human being that walks through. Claims to know more about shipping things than Amazon and Ebay. Even have video of him claiming it.And on top of that he said my package was too heavy. It weighed 3 lbs. If that's too heavy for someone they really shouldn't still be working. Especially if they are HALF as miserable as this cranky old man. Never returning. Will be reporting to everyone that i can. Copy and pasting all over :-) These kinds of people need to be jobless to allow actual polite human beings to have jobs instead of wasting our tax dollars on this rude individual

This post office, like most in the area, has a union mentality. No other business could run like this, but I guess since they are government subsidised, the workers there don't need to operate like a "normal" business. Two weeks before the holidays and no extended hours - they close at 4:30. FedEx and UPS extend their hours, the Newbury USPS just keeps going along like nothing is happening. Like I said, no other "normal" business could operate this way. I stopped in the other day at 4:28 and they were closed already. The guy inside was just plane nasty - "WE'RE CLOSED!" Everyone there is on auto-pilot and it is set to the slowest speed. Slow, unmotivated, union mentality. No wonder the Post Office loses billions each year. With employees like this, it will soon be privatized and all the old guard will be run out. Avoid this place.
