“For Amish country, there's a pretty good selection of spirits. When I need to restock my bar, I can generally find what I need as well as something new to try. There is a wide variety of vodka flavors, a few specialty whiskeys on top of the American classics and blends, and a nice assortment of gin, tequila, and rum. Cordials on offer included Cointreau, Ancho Reyes, Campari, and Cuarenta y Tres (Licor 43) among others. There's also a cabinet with cigars and premium wines - this is the only place around I could find a Spanish Port! There's also a vast selection of California wines, craft and macrobrew beers, and cocktail mixers. I won't expect to find the more peculiar spirits like Luxardo, Yeni Raki, or Chartreuse, but it's always the most convenient stop along my commute for a new bottle of reposado or rye to stock up the bar!”
“Best wine store ive ever been to and Ive been around the world, Joe is the best. Ask for him when you stop in and you will not be dissappointed with his courtesy and knowledge of wine selection. Does not try to oversell you but will let you know from his personal experience which wines offer the most bang for the buck. Im right across the street from him at our comic shop and they are my go to place on the way to work”
“These guys run a great location. Always nice and welcoming. Give in formed suggestions when I need something... Or not sure what I am looking for. Recommend highly”
“We had a really nice chill time at Vino_Type. The owner was knowledgeable and inviting. We got to enjoy the tactical and reminisces of using typewriters as we sipped away the last hour they were open, LP Collection looks intriguing and lots to look around at including maps. It's in a plaza with other businesses and so lots of parking to choose.”
“They're the best around. We often go here for pairings with dinner at home or a night out.Balaton - had the perfect pairings for Paprikash and Schnitzel.Chinatown - pairings for soup dumplings, bulgogi and spicy dishes were excellent.Home - steak, seafood, you name it they're always spot on.”
“Fun tour and very tasty wine. Worth the couple bucks. The cave is small but when you think that your standing in the world's largest Geode it's something you shouldn't miss”
“I've got no qualms about this place. They had exactly what I wanted, for the price I was expecting. The inside seemed organized, but a bit stuffed full. I see some reviews saying they had an additional charge for using credit... But I don't recall them telling me that? So I'm going to assume that I was not charged that. I will say though, for a place that has the word wine in the name, they did not have much wine.”
“I won't go anywhere else for my beverage, lotto, and snack needs. Her prices are lower than the local gas stations and grocery stores around. Miss Bee always makes my family and I feel welcome when we are in her store. My son looks forward to his fruit popsicle and seeing Miss Bee every week when we make our stop. If you're passing through Newbury make sure to stop!”
