Horrible Service!!!! Avoid at all costs!!! My son was in an accident, and we have to go through Enterprise for our rental. I called and made the reservation. I was told there would be a vehicle ready at 8 am the next day. I took time off of work, made arrangements to be dropped off, and had things ready to get my rental. I get dropped off at 7:30 am at the location. I received a call from "Rachel" at 7:40 am, saying they have no vehicles available. I asked if someone could give me a ride home, and they said NO, I explained I have no other means of transportation, her reply was "that's not their responsibility". I walked 6 miles back to my house. What makes things ever worse is that they had a dozen vehicles sitting in their lot. When I asked why I didn't get a call the night before I was told "I don't know, why didn't you call in to check". Why would someone call in to check, if they were told a car would be available at 8 am?

Your reservation at this location means nothing. I've previously had a good experience at this location, but when I needed them most, they failed horribly. I've rented at this location at least 4 times before. Yesterday my car was stolen and my insurance company made a rental reservation. I asked them to make the reservation at this location because of my previous relationship. We had a reservation confirmation number. Showed up this morning with the reservation and it meant nothing. They did not have a vehicle. 20 locations in the Columbus area and they wouldn't help us out. No valid reason. Instead of them making it right for not providing a vehicle by getting us one from another location, we were told we could call around if we wanted.UPDATE: Within one hour we called around and got a rental from Enterprise in Whitehall... the very thing the Newark location said couldn't be done. Wish someone would have been willing to do their job and save us a lot of heartache.

Had reservations to pick up a car @ noon, on 9-9-23 & car was not ready. Had to wait over an hr. Not a very happy person. This is the first time w/Enterprise that I have been very disappointed w/their service.

Enterprise in Newark, Ohio made the process very easy and smooth to rent a car. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the "refrigerant coolant very low notification" and "service engine soon" came on and I had to go back and get a different rental for the duration of my collision repairs. It said it needed serviced since April. YIKES. I was able to get a different vehicle within the next 2 days. Other than that, very friendly and great service. I would rent a car from this location again if necessary.

I recently had a flat tire on my rental car. Every single interaction I had with Enterprise staff was so helpful and kind. They minimized any inconvenience that they could!

The Enterprise rental on 21st street in Newark, OH was great to work with. They were super quick and efficient in the picking up and dropping off process. I will use them again and would recommend anyone who's in need, they'll help you out!

I consistently receive great customer service at the Newark, Ohio Enterprise location. Everyone knows my name and treats me as if I am their only customer. I especially want to recognize Rachel and Brice for their high level of attention and detail. I travel a lot for business purposes and think of this branch as an extension of my professional team. They make my job easier and I appreciate their partnership! I also want to thank Don, Rodney and Cathy for their dedicated customer service....always willing to help and conducting business with a smile.What a great team!Bob Johnston

The people were very nice but this is the second year in a row we reserved a mini van months in advance only to be told they didn't have any available at reserved pick up time. They did give me a Tahoe for the same price but now the fuel to Myrtle Beach is gonna kill us.. I even received a phone call the day before to confirm my reservation.

I had a reservation for a 7 seater vehicle and was called at a later date and told they did not have any 7 seater vehicles. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed to contact other Enterprises’ to check if another location (all at least an hour away) had any. Where is the customer service? What system wouldn’t show other location stock, why would the company not want to make attempts to providing what they promised when a reservation is placed before having me do what I clearly should have done in the first place which is shop elsewhere. By the way, I did call a separate location who actually put in more work than the Newark branch trying to find me a better vehicle only the better vehicle they found me was that a much higher price for the exact same vehicle my reservation was for. The gentleman was nice enough to apologize that this all happens and happens frequently because they over book.

They were awesome! Scheduled a car only one day prior to needing it. They secured a great car and made the check-out and check-in super easy!
