“Muffler Man is a great local shop in Athens. They replaced the alternator on my Jetta TDI, which is a pretty complicated process. The prices are very reasonable, the communication is excellent, and the team is friendly. They even fixed a loose bumper for free while replacing the part. I will definitely come back again.”

I've been looking for a truck for months, so I decided to look around and Mark Dellinger at the Ford store in Athens was super helpful. He found me exactly what I was looking for. I used to work for Don Wood about 19 years ago as a salesman and the fact that I've bought 4 trucks from them over the years should tell y'all a lot. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Will and Danny at Sundown. They are transparent when it comes to explaining exactly what the issue is, and have showed me how certain parts work, what they should look like at functional performance, and what signs to look out for when a part is needing replaced. They stay in communication with me throughout the service process. Their prices are a third of the price of other shops. Everyone here is personable, realistic, and takes delicate time and care with their customer’s valued possessions. I highly recommend this locally owned shop. I trusted them with my vehicle for about a month and could not be more pleased with their dedication to getting back on the road. I am happy to have finally found a shop I can trust! “Couldn't recommend anyone as high as Tim in the Athens area. Was told I needed all new rotors and pads during an oil change at Monro. Took it to Tim and for no charge checked out all four tires and said my brakes were in great shape. My fiancé has had some serious work done on her older Honda Odyssey at TB Auto and never once have we experienced sticker shock or faulty work. Very professional and fair with pricing. Highly, highly recommend!”
“It was a Sunday afternoon, I was 90 minutes from home and my tire pressure began to drastically reduce. I pulled in, explained my situation and within minutes they were able to repair my tire from the piece of metal I had run over. They were life savers that day. Highly recommended!!! “We had looked for and priced gently used tires All day and was told time and time again we'd never get what we needed for less than$140. I called Ron's garage and less than an hour later I had EXACTLY what I was looking for! Two very gently used tires mounted and all for 1/3 of what every other place was going to charge me!! The owner and his employees were kind, courteous, and extremely helpful!!! I recommend them to anyone!”

“Very very honest owner I really thought I needed new brakes, took my car into and Paul looked at it called me back and said there was nothing wrong with my brakes. I feel like taking this to a big corporate shop they would have just replaced my brakes anyway. I will most definitely be back for anything we need with this car. Its hard to come by an honest company anymore I am very impressed and very appreciative especially since we have a little one on the way in less than 2 months so saving money is a big deal!”

“Have only had one experience here and so far so good. Amanda answered the phone and was the absolute sweetest person on earth. Helped me get everything figured out, prices and such (had a tire blowout and needed a new tire) around $80 for one but includes free repairs, if they can't repair it, they prorate it, free alignment check (if that's not already mandatory) and free rotation. I had a small window to be able to make it in time, and she had even offered to have someone drop me back off at work. Wonderful customer service and tire changed in 20 minutes, even with an unexpected call off. Amanda is amazing!!”

“Engine rebuild !! They did a great job. Josh kept me informed on my engine rebuild , 6.0 that lost a lifter. He went thru the engine and fixed everything. I have had the truck back a month now and no issues at all. Also Josh told me what was wrong with my fuel tank and I fixed it. the plastic pickup on the sending unit had disintegrated and he was right. Very affordable shop and nice guys !!!!”
