Ordered one nuc back in February to replace a winter loss. When June rolled around, I called and was told there were queen problems, and it should be ready by the end of the month. Now it is the middle of July, and I had to call and send an email only to find out I will not be getting a nuc this year. I understand that Mother Nature can change things, but this could have been handled earlier when there was still a chance for me to get bees somewhere else. Not only that, I guess I would not have ever known unless I reached out (again). I can only give stars based on inadequate communication and rather poor service since there were no bees to fulfill my 6 month old order. Not able to recommend Combs as a supplier, unfortunately.

Purchased 3 packages from Coombs Bee Farm. Picked up on Sunday, put into the hives on Wednesday, (had to wait for some nicer weather) all three queens were doing great, with minimal bee death in the package. I have purchased from Combs in prior years and I have always been pleased with the product and customer service from Josh.

I had purchased bees along with Queen from Combs Bee Farm. After about a month I had a problem with the Queen. I talked to Josh. His knowledge was phenomenal He made several suggestions. When it was obvious my bees were not making a new queen cell he sent me a new Queen. The bees are doing great. Delivery was exactly as expected. Very prompt, efficient and great service. I will continue to purchased from them. I cannot rate them high enough for the help they have given me.

By far the best person I have dealt with... I had a mite infestation with my bees and I doubt anybody but Jeff would have picked up the phone on a Sunday when I discovered the problem. When you buy from Combs you're buying their customer service and knowledge. Can't this strongly enough!

Bought my bees here last year through the mail. Package was fantastic, still thriving through our cold Ohio winter! They're super helpful on the phone, and very easy to get in contact with. Highly recommended.
