Prices not really Thrift level, messy, unorganized,

There a lot of items to choose from. I thought it was tiny bit high but I just came from Texas and I haven't done much thrifting since covid and inflation. However, the woman/
Owner maybe? followed me the entire time. Seriously. I'm 51 years old. It was uncomfortable and I was so excited to go thrifting. I was on the phone with my BFF the whole time so I couldn't even really talk to her either because the lady was right there. The racks were ]]over crowded which took more time and
more awkward shopping. Couldn't even really look. Maybe she will recognize me next time. Or may she will put
up some of those cameras she has for sale. I just chalked up to her culture and she was nice.
On that note, similarly
An American lady started working at my goodwill in Texas. Karen. She always had something to say or do. Especially about prices come payment time. No tag? You paid the highest price. That stuff is free and no goodwill does that. I got to the point where I didn't like how I was treating her. Yet Karen was a true Karen. I wish I had a pic. No one liked her. It got to the point when I saw her I would
Tell her do not come near me, do not hang stuff near, don't talk to me or my friends and you are not checking me out.
That's not nice of me. I don't want myself or anyone else to have that tension at your happy
place with some over zealous worker.
That's what I worry about with this lady at the Middletown store. Ill say something to her if it were to continue. But apparently, this is an issue there. I'll give her a few more chances. I don't warn to be run out of a thrift store because of busy
bodies.
Plus, losing regular substantial customer when your making 100% commission on everything they buy. Not real business Savy.
Disqualifier here: I am aware all thrift stores do not get all their items free. I am also aware many of them place big bends out for us donate our items while misleading us to believe it is going to charity..
I'm not saying this place does by any means. You may want to ask them though.

I wish I could’ve checked it out!
I don’t know how long this was up before I got there, but I waited for for fifteen minutes and saw no sign of anybody coming so I just left ??♀️

It smells, it’s a mess, and it’s overpriced.

Came in to check the place out and pretty much every review is true. I absolutely LOVE the thrifting experience and I do travel from Dayton to Cincinnati thrifting for my business but this place was very uncomfortable. Just the atmosphere gave me a weird feeling, clothes were very unorganized, nothing was sorted by size so it was extremely hard to find anything at all. I did find a few things that I was very pleased with though. Check out area was super cluttered and not clean, lighting wasn’t good in the store at all.
And the prices were a little ridiculous. It’s a thrift store most people who go in there can’t afford brand new clothes, shoes etc. and they overpriced everything in there. So many people struggle now a days there’s no reason to sell coats and jackets at regular market value.
I don’t think I’ll ever go back here, I would honestly choose goodwills or even Plato’s closets.

Note the angry faced woman standing outside as I take the picture. She's probably going to read my review right after I post this. She was following me around the store. Lady I'm just a traveling professional reviewer from the mile high city now visiting Ohio and decided to make.a pit stop to see if the reviews pan out. And they did. These prices are just as gauging as valley thrift but more chaotic. I wanted to buy a music box from 1978..... but after talking to a random guy....... imma head on out.BTW, lady in Green pants went inside. Lol

Incredibly disorganized. Items spewing out onto the sidewalk outside. Found one item sharpied with “10” on it and the owner told me oh sorry that’s “$85”

I go to probably 20 thrift stores a week and have been meaning to stop here over and over again for a year or more. I finally did and the door was locked at 1:15 on a 50% off day??

Super dirty & most of the clothes are insanely overpriced fast fashion junk brands. The owners are a joke, they'd rather throw something away than sell an item under their insanely dillusional marked prices. It's like they pull their prices out of thin air. I'm not the only one to experience this, check the comments below.

This store was messy, disorganized and had way too much stuff for the size of store. Good quality on some items. BUT, many of the items were dirty. The lady running it the day I went in, was not at all personable. When I was ready to pay, I could not find the cash register or the cashier. Had to ask.

Small local thrift store that punches above it's weight limit by the sheer number of clothes and coats crammed on the racks. Enormous inventory of diverse brands, sizes and styles of coats alone. The secret to shopping here is to go every few months or so and not to expect it to compete with Goodwill or Valley Thrift store. They have a new inventory rack. No furniture, mostly clothes. Downside is no changing room and the store is unnecessarily messy. No seriously, they have A LOT of clothes here; enough for a store twice its size. Thanks.

EXTREMELY overpriced, unorganized, and disgusting. For example, they are selling tiny used candles for $5 & it's absolutely absurd. Seriously don't waste your time. Would never recommend to anyone.

The most cluttered, unorganized and over priced thrift store i’ve ever been in. (and i thrift a lot) The woman working here is unable to make eye contact or speak with you. I’m not even sure it’s a thrift store to be frank. Something feels way off. Things are better priced on ebay and you don’t have to leave the house!
