Always love this place. Great family destination with tons to do. The room was clean and the food was also great. Have zero complaints overall and will definitely be back again!

I want to start off by saying my kids and I had a blast at the water park the day we arrived. However we are completely exhausted because we’ve barely slept after. We were up until 11:30 last night with the room above us stomping and running around, then got woken up at 6:00 this morning to other guests yelling across the hallway to each other, and then we finally went back to sleep and were woken up again at 7:30 to other guests clapping and carrying on outside our room. We live in an apartment, so we are used to noise but this was people just not being considerate of others at all. I understand people have to move about in the hallway, but either quiet hours actually need to be enforced or something needs to be done to the rooms to block excessive noise out.

Edited to add: At 10 am on our checkout day (one hour before checkout), a maintenance tech used his master key and burst into our room unannounced! My kids were in the process of changing to head to the pool. I shouted that the room was occupied, and he just turned around and left without even an apology. I am appalled at the absolute and drastic decline of this hotel. Yes, it is a bit dated and dingy, but we have overlooked this in the past in order to enjoy the water park. However, based on this most recent experience, we will not be returning.
We have been coming to Great Wolf Lodge for years. However, this last trip I was extremely disappointed to see that, despite no communication or disclosure, they decided to add on a $15 daily parking fee for all overnight guests. I pulled up my confirmation email, which stated my stay was paid in full, and had no mention anywhere of a daily parking fee. The front desk attendant didn’t even bother to look at my confirmation. Instead he scrolled through some FAQ page on the website and printed me a screenshot that said “parking not included” and told me that this meant it was “communicated to me” and the extra amount was required. Even on this obscure screenshot, there was no disclosure of the fee amount. How incredibly deceptive to not include this charge on the booking page, or the confirmation email, but tell guests they must pay the $15/day upon arrival. Extremely poor customer service, and soured our stay immediately upon arrival.

My SIL surprised us and got us a room for Sunday 10/27. We had a great time at the Waterpark. Their food is definitely way overpriced, but the Waterpark is fun! Their quite time is 11pm-7am. The room above was pounding on the floor. It went on from 9pm- 6:30am. I called the front desk 3 time and told them. The security went to their room everytime and told them to stop. They didn't. None of us slept that night!!! I called to speak to a manager, and all she told me was well you should have called every time they were loud. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Also, when I asked her name she hung up on me!!! There wasn't a manager on duty after 11pm otherwise I would have asked for one that night!! We checked out at 7am that morning because none of us could sleep, and nothing was being done to correct the problem. That was a pretty penny down the drain!!

My family and I loved our first stay at Great Wolf. Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is that if you have a big family like mine (7!), bring your own food. The restaurants are good but very expensive.

Overall, we had a pretty fun experience. This place is more of a “do all your activities at the lodge” kind of thing, so if you’re just sleeping there, it’s probably not worth it. But if you get one of the packages and plan to spend most of your vacation at the lodge, it can be fun!
Definitely could use some updating in the decor and rooms, especially the bathroom. The tub was very slippery, which almost made me fall.
The glow in the dark mini golf was super disappointing. Half the lights seemed to not be working, so you could barely see anything at all, and there was no reflective material on the putters so you couldn’t see enough to even hit the ball. It also was eerily quiet in there— they should have some pleasant music playing or something.
We did not do the arcade because, as with most arcades, it was horribly expensive, and each of the games cost a random (and in my opinion, excessive) amount of play points.
All that being said, my kid really enjoyed the water park, bowling, and the magi quest, and she’s been asking when we can go back, so I take that as a win!

We have been numerous times over the past 4 years and noticed quality has greatly decreased, but prices keep going up. This will be our last time going.
1. The last 2 times we checked in we had issues with the wristbands not working. The first time I was by myself with 3 young kids, plus luggage. I had to lug everything back to check-in, stand in that long line, to get it fixed. Was it fixed? No! I went back to the room to find they still weren't working. Then I had to go back to check in, stand in the long long. I wasn't in a good mood. Then....it happened the trip after that. My husband got the wristbands, we got to our room, they didn't work. Luckily there was a supervisor nearby who let us in our room. While my husband and kiddos went swimming I went to the front desk and got the issue fixed.
2. Rooms are old and outdated. Slow draining tubs. Thin sheets. Rooms often have a smell.
3. Paid park!!! Wtf! So parking has always been free. Last year when we went (2023) they were charging only for the 1st two rows of parking. This year they charged everyone $15/day. What was irritating was it wasn't on our reservation. We didn't find out about the parking until 2 days before checking in.
4. Not a lot of breakfast options. Their buffet is $20 for adults and $10 for kids. Crazy! $60 for a family of 4 plus tip. Normally one of the adults just runs to a nearby restaurant to grab breakfast and bring it back. There are a lot of great food options within a 15 min drive. We normally just plan for 1 adult to make the food run and meet in the room for the kiddos to eat. Sometimes the pizza on site can have over an hour wait.
5. They did try to update the grand lounge by getting rid of the old tired timeclock set up. The stage is a nice touch. Some of the activities are limited to a certain number of kiddos, so you have to be early. We missed out on a few because we were either on time or a few minutes later. The most annoying thing is the craft table has maybe, 8 seats. Almost always there are 2 or so adults sitting in those seats. Those seats should be reserved for the kids doing the craft! Adults should be told to get up.
6. Lack of water bottle refill options. In the whole facility, there is 1 water fountain station which looks like it was last cleaned in 1980. I personally only drink water, so this was a bummer to see how nasty the fountain was and pretty much no other free options. I just went to Krogers and grabbed a jug of water.
7. They do a good job at trying to keep the pools clean. The probably should wipe down tables and sweep throughout the day. Often you will find bandaids or food smashed on the ground.
8. The pools get crowded, so plan accordingly. It is irritating to see 1 person take up 6 chairs only to find nobody sitting in them. I personally just like to sit by the wave pool and watch my kiddos. Even finding 1 free chair can be a challenge.
9. Since this is supposed to be kid friendly, how about some kid friendly toilets and sinks. Why is everything adult height?
Rooms: Old and outdated. Thin sheets. Uncomfortable mattresses. Over stuffed pillows
Nearby activities: There are a few cool museums nearby. Great food options.
Safety: Overall safe. You are more likely to trip over someone or slip on food.
Walkability: Lots of walking.
Food and drinks: Over priced.

I was told the remodeled but I couldn't tell where. It was nice enough and the kids had fun so that is what matters. It was 200 dollars more expensive than other greatwolf lodges.

We were here for a birthday party. Paying for parking when you are just coming to the party and not spending the night is ridiculous. Honestly, making anyone pay for parking is ridiculous. It's very pricey to begin with, and to add that cost, I feel is not necessary.
And may I make a suggestion about the Waterpark. I think you should have a colored bands for people who are not participating and are just there to watch their children or grandchildren have fun. That's a lot of money just to watch. Saw so many people just watching in street clothes that shouldn't have had to pay.

Went twice and as a parent it's not enjoyable after a couple days.
Rooms: Nothing that particularly special.
