I had a great experience with the color expert, Madison. She took her time and explain everything thoroughly, and answered all my d*** questions without any issues. I’m not sure how much they pay this young lady, but there better be a little something extra in her stocking at Christmas.

Customer service is 50/50. Some are rude some are nice. You now have to pay for bags now, but I could have delt with that. What is a deal breaker for me, however, is their stocking issues. They stocked the hair products just fine, but my Bitzy makeup was so hard to find I had to go to other cities. Now I find out they aren't going to restock them at all. Now I have to pay 3x the price at a different store for what I needed, and it's going to be even more difficult to find a replacement for their amazing glitter adhesive. I know it's not technically the stores fault, I'm upset at all the Sally's in the area. I don't know if it's a state thing or corporation thing, but I won't be buying from Sally's anymore, not even for my hair color products.

They won't let you return anything if you don't give them a phone number when you purchase the items apparently. Even if you have a receipt from the day before with your debit card on it! It says no where on the receipt that you need to give them a phone number to make a return and the cashiers don't give you this information either. I drove 20 minutes to make a return just to be told I could not make a return because I did not have a phone number on file even though I had a valid receipt from the day before. Apparently there's no manager to speak with either I was told to call corporate. Seems like a lot of Hoops to jump through to return $30 worth of junk will never be shopping here again beware

I went to exchange 3 toners I had purchased two weeks ago in Long Beach at the Lake Forest. Upon entering the store, not only was I rudely treated as if I were some type of degenerate, from Sally's employee "Jessica"-Transaction 33527-but was told the 3 items I was EXCHANGING due to misinformation from another Sally's, was "no where to be found when she typed in my phone number"...Strangely enough, I pull up the return policy, as I've been a loyal Customer for 15 years and am well aware that my items were showing up...As I mention this to her, she informs me she can only give me the absolute lowest value for these items-which I replied "That's totally fine, may I use it towards the items I actually need"? She responds yes, and I grab a nail polish, bleach, and some ion product. To make things return to being very unwelcoming, discriminating, containing the type of customer service that makes me think twice of the store I grew up with-never having one problem-Each isle I walk down, she found the need to follow me, repeatedly saying "we close at 8" (I understand that, it was 7:30). I go up to the register to check out and she ends up telling me "I need to take these items back to Long Beach bc she can't find them anywhere" (Oddly enough, she states this after requesting her name). She refuses my exchange, THEN accuses me that these toners "Usually have more fluid type of a thicker serum"...Um, what? So not only was she rude at first meet, she accuses me of lying, follows me through the whole store making me feel extremely unwelcomed (I was in there for 10 minutes), then rejects my exchange stating they aren't in the system, (completely a false statement considering I just purchased these not long ago at all). I'm completely dissatisfied, disappointed, and disgusted Sally's hires ignorant, rude, associates

The girls who work here are extremely standoffish and unapproachable. I went into the store looking to dye my hair a natural red and had never done it myself before, so I asked two of the associates for advice. The first girl looked very inconvenienced that I even asked for her advice and made me feel very uncomfortable as a customer. I asked her a few questions regarding what would look most natural and her response was, "I mean, I don't know what you're looking for." It seems like if you're working at a beauty store and trying to sell products, you would be more knowledgeable about what you're trying to sell. I realized this girl was not willing to help and felt very uncomfortable with her attitude, so I told her I would find another associate to help me instead. I found another girl working and she didn't have the same attitude problem as the first girl, but she also acted completely apathetic while I asked her questions and definitely didn't come across as someone who was interested in being helpful. Remember ladies, you're working in a customer service profession! So please be more professional and courteous with your customers.

Yelp said they close at 6, got there at 530, sign said they close at 7 on sundays but they were completely closed! The employees at Sally's always SUCK lol

Not sure why this Sally's has such poor reviews. I don't remember her name but a woman there helped me find a color for when I was dying my hair for the first time, and that color was so flattering and perfect I used it for about a year. They always have what I'm looking for in stock and I really have no complaints.

Never had a bad experience with Sally’s until I went in yesterday, new workers were working and seemed so bothered by the slightest inconvenience were super rude, rolling their eyes when asked to fix the smallest issue with an email, don’t see myself coming back in when their working. The two honestly shouldn’t work a job that consists of dealing with customers

Went in last night and a male employee failed to verify he had the right account and then acted annoyed when he had to start the transaction over. A female employee (possible manager) was helping him was very rude and unfriendly. They both acted like they hated their jobs and were bothered by even ringing out my items.

Been shopping here for years. Never again. Asked me to leave because I refused to wear a mask. Was in here a month ago, no mask, no problem. I'm done!

If you are unhappy with a purchase their customer service "moderate" reviews and wont let you post anything negative. I ordered toner and developer and i only ever received the developer which is clearly useless on its own. DONT ORDER FROM SALLY ON LINE!!!!!

i needed to buy hair bleach and called about if i could come in about 10 mins after closing as it was urgent bc my hair was basically only half bleached and i called and she said i could come i drove 20 mins out just to find that she couldn't let me buy the product. waste of time and gas. i do not recommend this sally's just go to another drug store. rude employees and they don't even have very good products in stock in the first place a lot of off brand products.
