I wish they had a V squat machine and a hip thrust machine but aside from those minor requests I love this gym and I come as much as I can.

The Y has recently decided that sports bras are banned in the gym and they are enforcing that policy bluntly. I walked in and was told to put a shirt on because this is a family establishment and to prevent men from staring at me. So basically, I'm inappropriate and shouldn't be around children or men.For every one that I've met while working out there this last year, you've all been so kind and respectful. The only time I've been sexualized for my attire at the gym, was today by a woman. I assume turtle necks will now be required while using the pool?

I love this Y so much. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and the place is so clean. The pool is great! But I wish that they were open later at night. It would be so convenient for me, my husband, and many other people I know! By not staying open, they are completely ignoring the night people and those who work 2nd shift.

The Madison YMCA is a great place to train. My favorite YMCA in Ohio.

Not a lot for my 8 year old to do, front desk help isn't very knowledgeable or kind. Just okay.

The East End Branch is my favorite YMCA to go to workout. The gym has practically everything, dumbbells, weights, you name it. Super cool!

Very nice and clean facility! But genuinely needs work on the inclusion of the local disabled and autistic community- especially children. It's very disheartening to see.No staff or programs available for children with special needs. Was told they have child watch and after school childcare at this facility- but they won't watch an autistic child due to inability and staffing.A simple gym program for kids to hang out with each other and play/do an activity/or even workout to music would be beneficial & truly not difficult to arrange.Kind of hard to have a family membership when certain members of your family are not welcome.I know the Ashtabula YMCA is currently working on programs & inclusion for the autistic children in their community-I certainly hope in the future Madison does as well.

I'm visually impaired and the staff and members are so accommodating. It's very clean, very organized, from the dumbbells to the weights, to the layout of the gym. Thank you, Madison YMCA and the great staff! From Patrick

I was trying to get my kids in to swim and fitness we don’t mind paying for a day pass bc I generally don’t use they Y, the lady at the front desk wouldn’t allow it not even a member which makes no sense. I get it the same story kids do this or that but not letting them swim or get a day pass bc of other kids is a little redundant bc it’s the same people who complain kids these days are lazy. Would recommend the Painesville one for kids looking to swim and work out.

As a hitchhiker. Of all the YMCA I been. This by far not allowing shower. I been charged 10 bucks for it. Luckily they haven't seen me staying over outside at a tent. I would imagine been told to get of there probably. I thought it was a Christan company.

I was approached by a girl named Megan who was extremely rude to me and I do not appreciate it! I will not be allowing my child back here again. FIRE HER
