Originally, we designed a 4-zone system to replace my old unit when it was destroyed by a water break. We contracted it to add the basement as a 3rd zone and the upstairs as a 4th zone (they did all the ducting but the 4th zone area wasn't finished yet). Problem is, partway through the job, they decided the basement couldn't be a zone (I forget why) and we haven't finished the upstairs yet (I told them it would be a few years minimum) and the system was designed to run all 4 zones, so the unit never kicks into the second stage of cooling. It constantly runs because they didn't bother changing it to a smaller unit when they canceled the basement part. The service & maintenance has been top notch, but that little thing being ignored when they did the install is really making the system not worth how much I paid for it. You would think if something like an entire zone being removed during the install were decided by them, they would at least sit down and tell me what the effects or problems that was going to cause down the line but instead I had to find out 2-3 years later when I called a technician out to see if it was low on refrigerant because it was constantly running (because the second stage was never kicking in to catch up). Really not happy with that part because it means I'm stuck with a system that will never work right that cost me almost $14k total.Services: HVAC system repair

I normally don't review anybody but the people at Perry's deserve it. Fred was great with our quote and in a very fast manner. They came out sooner then expected to install our new furnace. Service guys were great and did a great job. My hats off to all you at Perry and ATR. thank you and I will be referring you to others.
