This store is very convenient to me, but I'd rather make the drive to the Hubert Ave. Store. Unfortunately my car is in the shop right now so I just went to the one on fair and they didn't let me put my number in for my coupons. It usually pops up and I put it right in. They had cash on their regular register and card only on the self check out register. I had card, and the guy seemed irritated cause I asked if he rings the stuff out or me? Normally they have a sign up when I do go here saying self checkout is out of order. Obviously not if they use it when they need too. The last time I had to go there the kid didn't know how to use my cash back I had and just said he couldn't do it cause it wouldn't scan. I know they can also type it in. This is not the first time I've been told they can't do something cause they don't know how. Atleast at Hubert Ave they will try to figure it out and everyone there is so nice. Just wish fair ave would have better staff like my preferred store. I just paid doubled what I should have since most my stuff I got had a coupon or deal with it. Single mom so this is so freaking frustrating!!!!! This store could close and don't think many people would be upset over it. That's sad to say.

They have stuff priced on the shelves but when you get to the cash register they always charge more. For example, I went in there to buy tire plugs the other day. They were priced at $2.25 When I got to the register I was charging $5.50. I asked the cashier why and he said he didn't know and couldn't help!! They need to change prices on the shelves to what they really are or at least Honor the price when you go to check out. Thanks

Absolutely the worst dollar general I have ever been too. I have visited many through travel and stopping for needed items. The customer representative was unfriendly, I smiled and waved and she walked the other way. After walking around not able to find anything in its proper place and walking over stuffed knocked over into the aisle. At checkout I asked her name, rudely she replied Chloe I stated that I was unable to find christmas cards, and she said rudely I don't know what to tell you.

This store is a disaster is an under statement!!! It's Dirty and Unorganized with boxes of unopened merchandise sitting in the isles. It looks like a tornado hit the place! This store needs some serious help because I won't be going back. It's sad because it use to be a nice store.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. It is a complete and utter mess. There is no order to where things are. There is stuff on the floor in every single isle..Total chaos. The man at the register was an older gentleman with gray hair and a Gray mustache. I was purchasing a gift card and I know that you cannot go to the self-service register when you're getting a gift card. So I went to his register. He was sitting down when I walked up, he had trouble standing up. He was so rude. 2 gentlemen were in line behind me. I finally got done purchasing my 2 items. As I was walking out He proceeded to say: if you have a card you can go to the self check out. Very rude. Someone needs to get control of this store!!

Dollar General carries a lot of items from food and drink to DVDs and housewares. It is a big store and I bought 2 bags of candy.
