Mark, Christi and the staff at Cornerstone of Hope are absolutely amazing people. I lost my Dad at a corporate owned assisted living facility in less than 20 hours. I found him locked in his room, face down, in the bathroom, alone, lifeless, in a pool of blood. I was referred to Cornerstone of Hope by a friend. I attended a 10 week grieving session with others who lost an adult loved one. The counselors, group members and staff were beyond amazing during our journey. I'm blessed to have bonded with 5 new friends who share each other's grief. We help each other get through our loss together. Cornerstone also has grief events that we attend together throughout the year. It helps support us and others who are grieving. Thank you Cornerstone for helping us through this journey. ? You are our strength.

Went there in 2014 when my mom passway. They wouldn't allow me come 5 minutes early , they wouldn't allow me sit on there couch, because they didn't want me to see other clients coming in, they had to wait in my car until my appointment . They told me I had to sign agreement to or they won't allow to help me! I call this place " coner stone of disappointment". Why do they have a waiting room if they won't allow me to sit it in? Was I to much of a disappointment for there waiting room? I was so mess up losing my mom and having to face this behavior wasn't acceptable.

I have financially supported this because I thought they had a good outreach. I have called every week for a month now.. each time leaving a message. A week ago I left a message in the owners mailbox.. still no return call. How terrible

Cornerstone of Hope has truly been a lifeline for me after the unexpected death of my husband.I have been speaking weekly with a Counselor for several months and just finished a ten week Grief Support Group, for Loss of Spouse. Our Group Leaders were two compassionate women, who cared for each Group member as an individual. Thank You so much to Caroline and Maria for helping me along this lonely journey of grief.

I went to cornerstone for counseling after losing my spouse in September. They returned my call to take my information and set up my first appointment within 2 hours after I left a message. I received therapy for several months and found it was extremely helpful. My grief therapist was very kind, comforting and supportive.

What an amazing place. I have sent many people here for grief counseling and will continue to do so. They are kind and caring and are able to address so many portions of the grieving process. Thank you!

I saw two people from here to help me deal with my grief after loosing my dad. The first one was totally unequipped to deal with the issues I was having and the second her name was Gabrielle was so rude to me when I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get one to video chat. And refused to send me a different link. I would tell anyone and everyone to go anywhere else but here.

My dad completed suicide in February 2016. I contacted Cornerstone of Hope on April 1st of that year, which came highly recommended by Lucas Funeral Home. They got me in immediately for a Diagnostic Assessment and I joined the support group for individuals who had lost a loved one to suicide. Cornerstone of Hope is amazing. They served dinner prior to the evening groups and they offer a plethora of activities in order for clients and their families to remember loved ones on major holidays and other times. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The therapists, group facilitators and interns are all so loving and empathetic.

My mom passed away in July, and this facility was highly recommended to me. It was very hard to make the call, but I knew I really needed to be in a group with others going through the same pain. I called and was directed to the intake person who was unavailable. I left a detailed message and never heard back. Not what you want when you are desperately trying to find a support group. After reading some of the other reviews here, it seems I am not the only one who experienced this. That is sad.

Had Cornerstone highly recommended by a trusted doctor after the sudden illness and then death of my mother a couple of years ago. I called, left a voicemail expecting to hear back. Weeks go by, no call back. I call again and leave a message...no call back. Finally I stopped trying, and by that time my mother had already passed. More weeks go by and I finally hear back and decide to give it a try after desperation to find some help after what I had been through. Saw a “counselor” who seemed completely overwhelmed and unequipped to deal with my grief. I never went back and to this day I WISH I hadn’t tried going to Cornerstone so I could have gotten the grief counseling I so desperately needed. Thanks for not only for nothing, but for making my grief harder to get through.
