This is a Great picnic area, owned and operated by the Cleveland Metroparks. It has a huge open grassy field, 2 bathrooms with pit toilets, a large covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables, some picnic tables in a grassy area and plenty of parking. There are beautiful woods nearby and a trail through the woods that leads to the Top of Whipps Ledges. The trail is beautiful and it is lovely to overlook the ledges. Some people climb, or repel up and down the ledges.
Restrooms: 2 restrooms with pit toilets.
Picnic area: Large covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables in it.

The Cleveland Metroparks has designated these fields as a drone-friendly area. There is plenty of room to zoom without disturbing people or wildlife.

Good place for hiking. There are rock faces 30 to 40 feet high for climbing. Bolts have been installed at the tops of the climbs and a woodenfence.
