I just happened to find this place by reading other 4 & 5 star reviews somewhere else and I could find nothing bad reported. I walked in expecting to pay more than I could afford to have my refrigerator repaired. I explained the issue I had with my refrigerator to Harlan, the owner. He was so friendly and kind. He told me that I didn't need to pay him to come out to repair it. He even went step-by-step showing me on a refrigerator in the shop how I could repair it myself and even gave me some of the parts he had. He gave me his cell phone number in case I had any questions. I had to call him twice and he answered both questions. Bottom line is I repaired the refrigerator myself and it did not cost me anything. I highly recommend this place.

My mom recommended me to this place. Came in , they were super friendly and helped me right away. Showed me my options, and got me a great deal on a dryer. Loaded me up and was on my way in no time. Great experience!

Harlen is the best. He backs up everything he sells. He is straight up and honest with everyone. I refer all my friends and family that are looking for used appliances that work goodat a fair price.Hrlwn and Kevin are good peoplethat run a good business.

I was having an issue with my Amana dryer.Called George’s Appliance and spoke with Harland.He was very knowledgeable and helped me trouble shoot my issue with the dryer over the phone.Sure enough it was the issue he said it was.He was VERY helpful.Came to the shop and bought a replacement fuse for the dryer.The dryer is working perfectly.Thank you Harland and George’s Appliance!

I want to give such a huge shout out and applaud ? this company. After experiencing the worst purchase ever all the way around and dealing for over a month trying to get this company in middletown to just honor their own warranty after 2 sets breaking down on me then tge owner stealing my washer or having it stolen with no resolution. I was so skeptical coming to georges and scared to trust someone again but the minute I walked into Georges appliances I could instantly tell they took pride in what they do the washer drums were being washed in front of my own eyes so I knew my product was going to be clean huge plus cause the other place said they did it but definitely did not. I also loved there 3 month warrenty and how they come to me to fix it if there are issues. Amazing ? . I have been using my washer from them for 2 weeks now and I LOVE IT I've had no issues at all. I will definitely recommend then to other people and keep using them for in the future!!

Hands down I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've known Harlan for years, our kids are about the same age. Him and his brother fixed my washer the other day. I bought all my appliances from him over 3 years ago. Simple fix they were in and out, very considerate of the surroundings. I recommend them to anyone.

Called at 9:30 am on a Monday morning to schedule someone to come out to look at our dryer that had stopped working.. It is now 1:00 pm (same day) and our dryer is now working. Great service experience! Will use George's going forward for all our appliance needs!Service: Dryer repair

This was my first time visiting the store. These guys are awesome, Harlan listened to my issue and what parts I had already replaced, then told me what was still wrong. He did not have the part i needed and told me i could order it online as fast as he could. NO charge for the advise. Georges will be my first call from now on when I have appliance issues.

I was so impressed walking in to George’s! I was greeted immediately and they asked what I needed and what was going on with my current refrigerator. I explained I needed a new refrigerator because my current one ran but didn’t get cold. They were confident they could fix it for me with just a service call and a cheaper relay part. They were right! Harlan came out the next day and had my current fridge up and running within 10 minutes. They could have just sold me a new fridge but they did the right thing, unheard of anymore, and saved me a couple hundred dollars by fixing my current fridge. They will always get my business and I’m telling everyone I know, they are an honest, fair, family owned small business that cares!Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

I went in to get a part I believed I needed. After telling them the issue they gathered the handful of parts it could be that caused the issue. I asked if they took credit card with that being all I had on me and they do not. Instead of having me go to get cash to come back they gave me the parts valued at $50+ used and told me to just take the parts get it working and bring back what I did not use and bring the money then and he didn't care if that was a week from now or when. WoW! You can't find better people than that not only in a business aspect but as a person in general! These guys are real genuine great people!Service: Washer/dryer repair
