The lodge room was super comfy, the restaurant has a smaller menu, but something for anyone. And the food was delicious.
A little early in the season for fishing but the lake is very accommodating for anglers whether bank fishing or by boat.
Can't wait to come back and camp.
Also has a large bridal trail and horseman camp.
Restrooms: Very clean and up to date. My dumps were taken with great comfort.
Picnic area: Awesome little fire pit and lounge area behind the lodge with a free library and chairs for relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake.

Nice place to hike. Some trails are marked better than others. Stop at the nature center and Julie will recommend a hike for you.

Had a wonderful time. The staff were very helpful and friendly, from the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant to the maintenance staff that cleared off the leaves and acorns from the court so we could play. The room was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed our walks with views of the lake.

This place is in in of a major overhaul. Dirty. Very overgrown trails. I would suggest hocking hills over burr oak any day. Much better state parks elsewhere.

So far it has been an OK experience, but we've only been there for 1 night so far. I will update when we leave. Be aware this campground has very little cell service and appears to have no wifi. So it will be a device free experience.

Beautiful State Park. One of the few that have a lodge. The location in the hills of southeastern Ohio makes this state park very scenic.

Had a cookout near the beach and the grandkids swam. Not too crowded. Nice place. Would go back again.

Had a great day at the beach. It wasn't too crowded, the water was refreshing, and the bathrooms were clean!
