I'd highly recommend any of my friends or family to Little Giant. I mainly interacted with Dave and he was very helpful. The paint on my new bumper and fender match perfectly. Dave even took the time to give me some insight on repairs I wanted to do myself. If I need any more body work I know where I'll be going

I was in need of a new fender for my FJ Cruiser that I had smashed while offroading. I purchased a replacement fender myself and only needed someone to paint it for me. While calling around to a few different shops it seemed that either they would only do insurance work or had to pay them to remove, paint and hang the new fender.
After reading the reviews for Little Giant I knew these were my guys. Dave gave me a quote for just paint work and had me drop the fender off.
The next week he called and had me pick it up. I hung the fender that weekend and the paint color and finish was perfect.
Dave seems like a genuine guy running an honest shop. Will definitely come back again and would highly recommend these guys.

Due to my own stupidity, I caused some bad scratches on the rear passenger side of my car. I went to a chain auto body repair shop who gave me two estimates- one for $1200 and another for over $2000. Then I called Little Giant. The owner, Dave, said to stop by anytime during business hours for a free estimate, so I did.
Dave looked at it and said, if I can get that off your car right now there won’t be a charge. I had tried compound, but to no avail. Sure enough, he managed to get out all of the embedded residue within minutes, and told me to come back and drop it off anytime- he only needed the car for half a day to buff out any remaining scratches, restore the original finish and asked I bring some touch up paint. Dave did not charge me for the initial work.
Figuring I had nothing to lose, I went to my local dealership, purchased the last container of touch up paint, and went back on Thursday. Dave was not in, but the technician who helped me gave me his cell and encouraged me to call him. I did, and dropped off my car at 8:00 the next morning. He got it into the garage first thing and it was done in an hour.
He charged me NOTHING, simply smiled and said he was glad to help and to spread the word. I was truly stunned by this whole experience. Not only was the work top notch as you can see in the before and after pictures, but I received excellent customer service, personal attention and for no charge at all. I am speechless.
Needless to say, I am sold. There are many other testimonials to the excellent service at this shop, and now I believe them. Check them out- you’ll be glad you did.

It was an unusual first visit...I actually received my quote from the shop owner, not an employee.
I exercised due diligence and got two more quotes. Having the background of a tooling engineer, the conversations I had with the other two locations made no sense to me. The damage to my vehicle did not require completely disassembling all the components. Merely fixing the damage by a staff of artists that are fading fast.
Dayton has always been the hub for talented engineers and trades people.
I think the name chosen for their business is too modest. I think it should be changed to "The Big Giant".

Dave might be the most honest businessperson I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I can't say enough about the level of customer service, professionalism, communication, and impeccable quality of work. I found Little Giant on an online car forum, stumbling upon rave reviews about their work and Dave's exceptional honesty. I looked up reviews on Google and immediately knew this is where I want to take my Tesla. The value of what I paid was unheard of. Hit and run driver crashed the side of my 1992 f-150 Flareside Supercab on on May 31. Police found the person and filed a report. I stopped in and ask Dave at Little Giant if he was interested in fixing truck, he said of course, lets see if insurance will pay. Insurance adjustor wrote estimate and said if body shop needed more for them to contact him, and I conveyed this to Dave verbally when I called him. Adjustor sent Little Giant the estimate about 1st or 2nd week of June which ended up in the Spam. I called and ask about them getting it and Dave found it in his spam. Said great and bring me your truck on Monday July 31st. Insurance agreed to pay for replacement truck because mine is used for business. I was met at body shop on 7-31-23 with the rental truck as I dropped off my truck. Dave said about 4-5 days maybe the following week and he'd have it done. A couple weeks or so later I stopped and saw that my truck was not started yet so I went in and found that Owner had taken a trip out of country. They claimed they would start soon. The next week still no progress all the while insurance company having to extend my rental. Best I can tell they worked on my truck on the week of August 27th and on the 31st I was notified by call message my truck was done. Now more problems arise. Insurance estimate was not followed. They were to remove bed liner and tool box but instead taped it off and painted below it. After market stripe and body molding was not available although insurance was willing to replace them at whatever cost it took . The extended part of the cab was to be painted and blended in , which did not get done. Part of the body work was not smoothed out and the waves shown through the paint are very evident. Since I had previously read a review (google) on how little Giant took the full insurance estimate from a previous customer and didn't do all of the work I set out to make sure the same didn't happen here. Instead of giving them the check from insurance we went over the bill and changed the items and I wrote them a personal check . They returned my molding and said that if I put it back on before about a 90 day cure period that it would strip the paint if I didn't want to keep it on and replace it with better quality. Owner seems annoyed by having to take time to write a receipt which is something most shops just do without having to ask. I had driven away when I realized I didn't get one and drove back. Receipt was just insurance estimate marking off what they did not do, stamped paid in full. Body work, paint and paint preparation as well as attention to detail was substandard . Customer service wasn't good and communication was lousy.My advice to future customers- beware . I had allot of rust removal and a complete paint job done on the same truck at Maaco in Sept of 2015 and would recommend them over Little Giant . Doug Tutt. Sept. 3 , 2023
