I went in for a brake inspection, and left less than 2 hours later with my front brake pads and rotors replaced. They were honest about what I needed done and gave recommendations but didn’t make me feel pressured. We will come back to this location for future needs. We went to the Vietnamese restaurant next door while we waited, and they have really good coffee.

Tried to charge us $1059.00 for new parts, but we had given them new parts to start out with, said they had to be sure the parts meet oem standards, the parts were from rock auto, charged us $188.0 just to diagnosis the problem. Sorry sounds like price gouging to me.

Called Grismer to try to figure out a loud rotating noise while accelerating/decelerating. Already replaced brakes and turned my rotors and was still having the issue so I was already getting annoyed with not finding a solution. I decided to take it in into Grismer, they were able to get me in same day which was nice. After only two hours and paying $75, they told me they went through the car with fine tooth comb and said it was my transmission and needed to go to the dealership to have it looked over further. I couldn’t believe that since my car is only 2 years old. Finally was able to get into the dealership three days later for a diagnostic. I got a call the next day saying they found the problem, low and behold… it was my tires. My tires were having a “cupping” issue and they needed to be replaced. Easy enough fix, hated to buy new tires but it was obviously necessary. Put new tires on and the sound is gone. Grismer as a “tire shop” should have caught this issue and lost out on a larger sale. Worst $75 spent.

Above and beyond. Called for a tire replacement, got me in the very next morning and I was in and out in less than an hour of arrival. Amazing work and group of people that work here.

I just moved to Dayton and had been going to a Grismer up in Troy previously. My tire had a slow leak, so I contacted this location. They got me in same day and I was in and out in 30 minutes - removed a nail from the tire and patched me up. The staff was all very kind and joking around with me (which I appreciate). Would 10/10 recommend paying them a visit!

I called Monday morning to see if they could squeeze my dads car in that we needed a second opinion since the first shop said the car was fixed but the check light came back on. We knew something wasn’t right, but what we later found out was mind blowing!
I was told to bring it in Tuesday 8am but I was unable to drop the car off that early so I took the car the same day I called them and let them know hey the car is here for my 9am appt the next day. Within 30-40 mins of dropping the car off ( they was able to squeeze us in faster, that was a plus) Brent called me saying he found the problem to be that 2 coil packs are dying, (first shop never told us that was a problem at all, after keeping the car for a week, even tho auto one said that was possibly the problem) G.T told us the price, we said okay and they fixed the problem! Brent called me back a little later asking where did I take the car to before him because the first shop had stripped out the manifold trying to put in a o2 sensor (the shop who did that tried to cover it up telling us the catalytic converter was CLOGGED, so he could replace the whole thing and we would never know the truth)
G.T had the car Monday after noon till Wednesday afternoon. Very fast, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and very patient with me, as I had to run everything threw my deaf dad since it is his car. also let us have a broken part to take back to the shop and show them they’ve destroyed it.
I really appreciate brent and his crew for fixing someone else’s mess up and finding the real problem to the misfire of the car!
So far the car has been running much better, he drove it to Beavercreek and back home with no problems a hour after we got the car back. Hope it continues to do so well!
Also was a big plus to us they accept cashier check and money orders since we don’t like carrying huge amounts of cash on us.
Thanks again for your time and fixing the problems! My dad was going crazy with out a way to get around.
