Went to check out a car the past two days and they were closed several hours before they said they were supposed to close.

I was refused access because I had a car that I made a bid on but I couldn't pay for it due to the fact that my credit card was stolen and my credit union stopped payment and I was placed on a lifetime banned from buying cars . I felt that this action was much to excessive due to the circumstances of my credit card being stolen. I had purchased several vehicles from the Dayton Goodwill Auto Auction.

Do NOT trust them or their cars. Description said Engine Runs, but It did not. I’ve spent 5 months replacing everything I could, and just brought it to 2 ships that agreed the engine has been locked up from previously bring overheated. Spent over 10,000 dollars on this car and all of the attempted repairs for NOTHING

It's good in person but now that they are online people can just drive up the prices, you can make a fake account, drive up the price, then never pick up the vehicle. And used car dealerships just bid on them with the hopes of making 100$. So it's a horrible place to get a used car, you may as well pay the extra 100$ at a dealership since you get very little information on the vehicle and are taking a risk purchasing it that something major could be wrong with it.

If you're looking for a good vehicle don't trust them....they don't tell you the full car history. They will get over on you....I always thought Goodwill was a respectable organization until now smh.

Some of their vehicles at the end of the auction cycle are priced very high, might as well go to a real dealership.

Some vehicles have problems listed on information page. Beware that they don't not bother listed things for all vehicles on lot. Had to beg and plead to even start the vehicle that was already paid for. Don't pay until you look and if they won't let you start vehicle DON'T BUY.

Make sure you check the car you want. Check it out thoroughly it will probably need a new battery and I recommend checking the radiator fluid the oil and the tires and brake pads all the way around but if you need something you can get decent car.

Would not recommend. Obviously the cars are as is and you’re buying mostly sight unseen, however the description for the car I purchased only stated that the car ran, the miles it had, and the vin. When we arrived to pick it up it had a large note on it that the breaks were shot and it must be towed, that was not in the description online. Also the battery was not in the car so we could not test if the car even ran. After paying for a tow to our mechanic it was determined that the car did not run, was not salvageable and we ended up re-donating it elsewhere. Upon calling we were told it was our fault for removing the car from the lot. We should have tested it then even though we had no way to do so. Had heard good things and was expecting much better. Buyer beware that the descriptions online are likely inaccurate.

Easiest auction to work with. They also let you inspect the cars during business hrs.
