This place is ok if your only getting one or two boards, and don't mind the price gouging! If Lowe's and Home Depot have the lumber your looking for, Jr's is pretty competitive with their pricing. If their out, he doubles his prices. I was told, if the big hardware stores are out of lumber, Jr's Jack's up their prices, because they know if you need it, you'll pay for it! (6) 5/4 10foot decking boards costed me $80, and a 8 foot 4x4 costed almost $19!!! I'm not sure how their allowed to get away with this. But, I will be contacting somebody!

I’m so thankful for our local supply company! They helped me get supplies necessary for an electrical project last week and today with a roofing project. Knowledgeable, friendly, reasonable prices, and....saves me a trip to Ashtabula!

Called this store looking for a certain color deck sealer. They told me they had it. I called again as it is 40 miles to this store from my house. None of the stores close to me had it. I drove the 40 miles only to find out they didn't have what I asked for. The sales person told me that the manufacturer didn't make the color that I wanted. I already bought what I wanted but needed more. There wasn't even an apology offered. The sales person I talked to was the same one I talked to on the phone.

Very poor customer service. Husband called them looking for a specific brand/color of wood sealer for a deck project. They said they had it in the store. Called back to confirm the specifics of what they had and that they would hold it. Woman assured him it was there and they would hold. Hubby drove 40 miles one way and product wasn't what they assured him they had. He had specifically asked them to confirm the sealer was clear. It wasn't; it had a color added. Her response was it "was the lightest they had". She obviously felt he would buy whatever since he drove all that way.

The store has been updated and expanded. Very clean and organized. The negative is that certain things do not have price tags.

This place is very convient if you live in Conneaut and need something quick without having to drive 20-30 minutes either direction. However, the one man who works there is extremely rude! He has absolutely no personality or customer service skills at all. Don't even bother asking any questions because they will be answered very sarcastically. He makes you feel like you are nothing but a bother to him. If this was my busisness I wouldn't want someone like this running it. Definitely will not be back. I'd rather do the 30 minute drive then get treated like an idiot.
