Thank you for letting us fill our trailer fresh water tank after the Shell truck stop up the street located: 780 OH-7, Conneaut, OH 44030, tried to sell clean out dump station water as potable water for $5.34! Paying $10 to this nearby Campground for the water was well worth it and supporting a locally owned business was an additional plus.

07/03/2023Where do I start without sounding like a disgruntled old man. An old friend was camping there with his motor home, I rented a cabin at the same campground. I met his wife at the general store and she after hugging and other pleasantries got in my car and we proceeded to her RV. Just got there and David raced up in his golf cart and proceeded to tell me he could have the police arrest me and her for giving the "secret" code to get in. Just the day before she was told she was going the wrong way on a street with no signs. I was told on the phone when my CC was billed I would receive an email with a map and what cabin I was in. Never happened! Finally at 5:00 at night I was allowed back in. 5 MPH is posted all over. My car in 1st gear idling is faster than that. Had foot on brake for all movement in camp. Many others go the opposite way on the roads in the campgrounds, particularly the golf carts and boy, never knew a golf cart could go so fast. Big sign no driving on grass, was told not for you. Sign in cabin says no parking on grass by cabins. They either do not want disabled vets there or they cater to people that pay by the year. Oh yes, pets are welcome, sign says you must take your dog so it doesn't bark. There was a barking dog that could be heard in the cabin, the trailer it came from said Mayor of the Lake. Once again if you aren't one of the good ole boys, watch your step.

We only stayed one night. It was our last stop on way home from a 9 week trip. What a great place! Only 4 1/2 hours from home. We are planning on returning for an extended stay. Even though we only stayed one night, we were treated very friendly. The owner talked to us about the area. Can't wait to come back.

I was seasonal at this campground for 4 years. Best 4 years of camping. The owners are fantastic. The only reason we left is we moved back to CT. They even went to pick up my camper in CT as I didn't have a truck. If there's any bad reviews on here it certainly isn't warranted. If I'm ever that way it us on our list to stay there. RIP Carl you're not forgitten.

We camped here in a 30' motor home for 3 nights. Full hookups! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The park was quiet every night except the occasional road noise. The park is clean, well maintained and huge! They have a nice dog park that is well maintained and larger than most parks. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Nice quiet campground to stay at. The restrooms are very nice and clean. Love the hot showers!! My new favorite campground and it’s not far from home! Very friendly folks who run it too!
