I have not done a cooking class yet but will. Today my son and I stopped by . The door was locked . They came to open the door even though we were just looking . The two women inside were the most wholesome people . So kind . Immediately felt like family . We did end up purchasing large rigatoni(100% Italian wheat ) which I made tonight and was absolutely amazing . Used the lemon infused oil to top the garlic bread which was great . Still have the bruschetta with peppers to use . I can not wait to book a class . It’s a classy environment with a homey feeling .

This is a real gem of a shop in Short North. Wonderful customer service, excellent selection of wine, delicious assortment of baked goods and other small plates, expertly poured espresso drinks - an all around amazing experience. We'll be back for certain.

I am so happy that I had the opportunity to visit and meet Debra Quinci, owner of Quinci Emporium. She is an authentic Italian treasure and her cafe/restaurant is just as amazing. A perfect spot to grab an espresso or cappuccino and chat with a friend or have lunch and a glass of wine. Her imported wines and products are plentiful!! She also does culinary trips to Italy and cooking lessons right here at her Short North restaurant location!

I had such a blast at the Toledo museum of Art, where admission is always free. Here are some of my favorite pieces. The staff are really super friendly, kind and even flattering. Here are some of my favorite themes, humorous love, sailing and instruments. I paid homage first and always to the Baroque 'Venus and Cupid' painted circa 1650, located in the Grand gallery. Then the next is 'Fear' (of getting caught) 1850ish. Then Cleopatra after she is snuck in to see Julius Caeser hidden in a rug. Also, I discovered that there Toledo Symphony plays in an amazing hall called the Peristyle, It's attached to the museum. The acoustics are amazing from the looks of it through the windows. It's worth Driving back to Toledo find out. I loved the room called the Intersection. All the designs on the walls and floor are shadows from a single bulb.

Columbus should be proud to have the opportunity to host such a great business as Quinci. My wife and I are on the constant hunt for great cuisine and specialty stores, which Columbus has plenty of if you know where to look. As far as Italian fare, you will not need to look further than Quinci. We came across their website and after looking through it decided to order some of their homemade pastas and sauces. The real treat was stopping by the store to pick the items up. The owners were so lovely and engaging. You can tell they are proud of where they come from in Italy and love sharing with others. Our conversations ended up on eggplant and how much we enjoy it, which was met with one of the owners giving us a free jar of the eggplant based red sauce that they are working to develop. It was absolutely wonderful, just the right amount of sweetness with the "meatiness" of the eggplant. If you have the opportunity and are in the vicinity of the shop I recommend you stop in, check out their shelves and soak in the warmth
