Sheila is such a talented designer! I would have never dreamed that I would be in a custom gown! I was all over the place as a bride! I didn't know what I wanted or if I could afford it and i was just so stressed! Sheila took me step by step. I tried on dresses in the stores but It was much more comfortable and calming trying on her designs. She took notes of what I liked and didn't like and all of my concerns. Once we decided on the style, next was the fabric. We looked at so many! She was very patient explaining the different type of letting me feel the texture. Then she found the absolutely most amazing color! The dress fit like a dream! The details were amazing! It just laid right with every step and in every photograph. I could not have asked for anything more and the price was beautiful as well! I felt like the most beautiful bride! Aaaanndd it has pockets??

I am incredibly happy that I chose Delana formals to design my wedding dress. I live in France so all consultations were conducted online, however this was no obstacle for Delana formals to create the dress of my dreams.The dress: The dress itself is of superior quality and is so comfortable. When looking at the dress up close you can really see the attention to detail. My dress has two layers of lace with hand-sewn appliques and an underlay. It is very supportive despite a plunging neckline and low back which I find very important given I have a bigger bust and plan to be walking and dancing a lot on my wedding day. Also, the dress fits me perfectly. I gave all of my measurements to Sheila, and despite not having a fitting, she managed to create the dress to my exact measurements. You can tell that the dress has been designed to suit a wedding day and to sit well in photographs. For example it is not only comfortable, but it is fitted well in all the right places and the hem is reinforced to provide structure. The dress is custom made from scratch. Sheila asked if I wanted to design a completely new dress, however I loved one of the dresses on her site. She also confirmed if there were any elements of the dress that I wanted to change such as the colour of the underlay and the height of the shoes I expected to wear. I chose to change the colour of the mesh in the bust area and she confirmed that it would be no trouble. She chose a colour that matches my skin tone perfectly so I am thrilled. Honestly, I still cannot get over the quality of the dress for the price. It is such a quality piece which I expected to pay a lot more for.The service: It is always daunting paying and ordering a dress online for such an important day. Sheila was very attentive to my emails and no ask seemed too great. She realised my wishes and was an absolute dream to work with. She confirmed the payment quickly which is a relief when sending large sums of money. Also, she sent photo and email updates regularly confirming the expected dates of the dress. When I first ordered the dress she gave a timeline for its development and she worked well within the timeline.The shipping: The dress arrived beautifully and protectively packaged with a dress bag, wrapping and ribbons. It arrived quickly (within 4 days from the USA to France) with Fed-Ex so I was able to track its arrival. The price quoted included taxes and shipping which was also a plus as there were no unexpected costs at the end.Please note in the photograph I am not wearing a bra or any supportive tape.

Sheila was an absolute pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. I had a custom dress that turned out perfect for my wedding! Due to COVID-19 I had many many many complications with my wedding but I was happy that my dress was not one! Had a fantastic experience with Delana Formals!

Love my gown!!! I made a virtual appointment and submitted my measurements as I live out of state. The designer asked me to anticipate making alterations when I received my gown but it fit like a glove and I got to save that extra cash. Such great quality and craftsmanship. I highly recommend!

Sheila went above and beyond in making my custom dress for my wedding. I received so many compliments the night of and was so comfortable and relaxed in my dress. People said they had never seen a dress in that design and they loved it! I highly recommend. The price was fantastic and she executed everything I requested perfectly. So glad I went with this option instead of buying from a boutique. Thanks again :)

Sheila, designer of Delana Formals, is a brilliant gown designer. After meeting with her and discussing my vision for my wedding day, Sheila created a gown that perfectly fit my personality and was better than I could have imagined. The staff at Delana Formals work efficiently and stayed in constant communication with me to ensure that my gown was completed far before my wedding date. I had two gown fittings prior to my wedding day and was able to extend one fitting to wear my gown with my bridal shoes and veil.The craftsmanship of the wedding gown was lovely. The gown arrived with extra beading in case any beads fell off and a bustle, which I hadn’t known to ask for. I can happily say that we didn't have to replace any beading when my gown was cleaned after the wedding. The tulle underskirt remained intact after a long day of wearing my gown for wedding photos and dancing. The gown was easy to store in the garment bag that I received with my purchase.I highly recommend Delana Formals for any events that require a one-of-a-kind gown that will leave a lasting impression. I had my mind set on a dress but couldn’t afford it so I reached out to Delana Formals for a quote on that style of dress with some personal changes. Price was fantastic, service was great and my dress turned out beautifully! It was truly a custom designer quality and fit.I highly recommend them!
