This review relates specifically to the Costco HEARING CENTER. Based on excellent reviews in Consumer Reports, we scheduled an appointment with the Costco Hearing Center for a FREE hearing test. And, based on the results of that test, we purchased hearing aids for my wife. The staff in the hearing aid center was very professional and explained everything as they went. They weren't pushy and were very accommodating. We bought a Costco membership specifically for the purpose of buying hearing aids. The staff at the membership desk explained that their membership "system" was down but they took us to a kiosk in order to complete the application so we can complete the purchase of the hearing aids - they were very pleasant and really wanted to help us - very helpful. Now that we're Costco members, we'll try the store and evaluate the store at a later date.

if I could give zero stars to this place I would. the employees are rude to customers. I rather go to the one in plain city. no matter how busy they are they always have a smile on their face and are very kind and respectful.

Writing this solely because I love the prepared meals. The salads, and the casseroles you stick in the oven for an hour, meaning a no -fuss dinner. The Mediterranean Orzo Salad was great, but I haven't seen it again. I also love the chicken enchiladas, which I had for a meal several times. The Shepherds pie is a dish my dad loved, but I haven't been able to find it again. I served their Chicken Pot Pie for dinner with friends. The four of us feasted and there were leftovers. I also am happy about the self-checkouts. The people have always been helpful when needed.

In the past I have had good experiences, but my most recent visit was horrible. I asked how long a flu shot would take they said just 15 min. It was much longer and I had a sick dog at home that was dying. I had just found out that we would need to put him to sleep. After half an hour, I asked the check out guy how much longer it would take and he would not tell me how long. He acted like I was being disrespectful. I got a mini lecture on how the pharmacist is busy and has to check everything. And I definitely got a snarky attitude from the pharmacist administering the shot who asked me if I had "somewhere better" to be. I don't know if she really thought she was going to get an honest answer while she was holding a needle, and I certainly wasn't going to open up to her after being so mean. If they had been honest about how long everything would take instead of being defensive about why I was asked, the entire thing would been much less painful. And if they were just open and honest about how much time the whole thing would take, I would have been able to make the decision to leave immediately, so I could spend time with my dog. They also didn't tell me that the prescription for my dog was going to take a while. They just assumed I would wait around and didn't tell me that I wouldn't be allowed to instacart it. I wasted even more time that day just driving around when I needed to be at home. I understand things take time, but their behavior was unprofessional and made a difficult day even more painful.

My car battery died at this Costco. I went inside and asked the tire department if they could jump my car. They were extremely helpful. Someone came and jumped my car off of a battery. He was super friendly and helpful. This all happened on the first cold day of the year and during the after work rush.

I noticed that on my credit card a automatic renewal of my membership on December 1st and it didn't expire until Dec31 st. I called to have it removed as I don't want to spend 60 for it at this time. I called the CC company and they said wait til the 5th of Dec to see that it's removed. I called on the 5th to be told by Costco that I have to wait until the 6th and have to come in to have it removed!!!!!!!! I called today and (6th) Polaris Costco and was told a manager will call me back tomorrow as there isn't want in the store today. I will NOT BE GETTING another membership from there. I didn't give permission to renew. It overlaps for one month, which should be illegal. Check your memberships!!!!

Terrible management at this Costco. They are so anxious to keep non-members out of their store that they break the law. There is an Ohio law that you cannot sell alcohol to certain people (members) without selling it to everyone. The management at this branch of Costco blatantly breaks the law. Shame on you!!! Of course, I have no motivation to ever join because of their profound dishonesty. I want nothing to do with the crooks!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The older men at customer service (one of them wearing a black zip up, glasses, and balding haircut) was extremely rude and condescending. As someone signing up for a Costco membership for the very first time, this was a disappointing and discouraging experience as I was told the following during the interaction: "you should be a doctor. I shouldn't need to squint to be able to see your handwriting" and while the photo ID was being taken, "smile, come on". Furthermore, I was told that I was making a "mistake" if I selected the Costco premium membership. And this man asked a number of very personal questions which were not pertinent to the membership, which included questions such as, do I pay for my own car insurance, what my job was, where I was from originally, and how much I travel, and how young people make a mistake with not signing up for the Costco executive membership. These unprofessional questions, as well as the derogatory comments, made for a very unpleasant experience at this Costco location. This man and his buddy made it clear that they did not respect me or really care about making this experience pleasant as a new customer. I will never shop at this location again as long as this man is there. Again, if you are a new customer and you see a balding, older, white man in glasses, avoid this man at all costs and don't tell him any of your personal information!!
