The new director, Ms. Leigh, is a God send! She works hard and is great with the kids. She’s very accommodating, working with parents to ensure we provide the best care for their kids. You can tell she is dedicated and hardworking. Don’t let this one go!

everything was fine until a teacher hit my child and the director tried to sweep it under the rug and say it didn't happen even though she admitted to it

We have had overwhelming positive experiences with COA in the several years that we have been with them. We have watched our child learn and grow, stating with the various preschool levels and continuing through the older classes. Our child loves going to her “little” school and looks forward to summer camp each year. We love that the students represent a diverse population and learn from each other.

We are excited to have found COA and have a safe place to take our daughter for daycare. The teachers are attentive, compassionate, and actively try to learn our child.Our daughter goes to a school program mid-day and they make sure she gets safely on and off of the bus. Being so young, that was a fear of mine, but she is well-taken care of and excited to get back to her friends at daycare each day.The leadership is also great! We feel that they care and are willing to partner with us as parents to help our child. I am grateful for COA Columbus!

A family member of mine had a terrible experience here, and when she attempted to resolve the conflict, was met with incredible cruelty, lack of education, open ignorance, and inappropriate behavior.

While COA seemed to be very supportive of their children, they neglected to acknowledge the verbal abuse inflicted upon children from a staff member named Elaine Simmons. She degraded & threatened a child with autism that he would be taken to a crazy hospital and away from his family if he did not listen to her demands. Upon talking with her, she showed no care for how her words were hurtful and unnecessary. COA simply stated they will not terminate her because of how long she’s been with them (which if you look up violations, you will see MANY SERIOUS violations when it comes to the treatment of children). COA is showing that they value an incompetent employee who shows up instead of looking for a new employee that provides the safety & well being of children.

People stop the negativity and lies about the director at COA . She is a kind and cares for people’s kids . She is one of the best people that I have ever known for 3 years . She did nothing wrong at all except care and tries to help parents and kids out with . She is not a bad person or a boss .

I had a bad experience with this daycare, where my son's teacher, Juliana Wentz, was observed hitting the children to force them to sleep, all of this in front of the camera. This incident occurred a week ago, and a police report has been filed. Necessary actions will be taken against her because she is unfit to work with children.

The director of this facility, Elaine Simmons, discriminates against children with disabilities. She told an Autistic boy that he was crazy & would go to a mental hospital & never see his mother again. She also said that she can tell he does not have a dad in his life. This woman needs to be fired immediately.

Why is this place still up and running? Shut it down at this point! All these complaints! Just horrible! Do not send your kid here. They do not care about your children!
