Am I established patient, yes.
Does my dog get reoccurring ear infections every October. Yes.
Think I could have avimax a few days before his vaccine appt. No.
Is the dog in pain. Yes.
Do they care? No.
Do they want me to schedule an emergency appt. Yes.
Have I ever missed an appt? No.
But have they made me wait long times for appts. Yes.
Think they would offer me a allergy medication to avoid getting the October ear infection. No
To add, they will try to take advantage of your dog being sick and make you schedule an emergency appt. EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN LESS THAN A YEAR SINCE YOU SEEN THEM. I really recommend having a different vet. I hate scheduling with them.
Dog has allergies, gets ear infections every October. We consistently keep up with him because we like to keep him up to date with shots and anything he may need. I personally cannot see my dog in pain, its like a child is in pain.
I made an appt for Tuesday which is a week away for an ear infection, if I needed to go in sooner I had to make an emergency appt. For an ear infection. You would think I could just have the medicine since that is the point of being an established patient. No. Have to wait for my appt. So my dog has to be in pain because they want me to schedule an emergency. Although I need to bring him in anyways for his shots. So my dog has to be in pain since I do not have time to wait hours for an emergency appt. Okay, but I will continue to keep this thread updated with just cruddy responses. I am actively looking for new care. I could get something faster from Canada then working with this vet.
I used to like this vet. But the attitudes of the veterinarians is seeming to me that they just don’t like their jobs or maybe their clients. The phone system goes in a loop most of the time and you have to press 3 about 15-20 times before someone answers. (Update, this is not longer an issue).
And the social skills are seriously lacking. (Update, this is still the case). I think when someone said there was a great vet in Harrison i mistaken it for this place not knowing the area and it’s honestly been a big mistake establishing care here. The two male vets are terrible. The first one was just completely wrong in diagnosis. And the second one was just a smart ass in general. Asked me if the dog had recently been in the pool, the simple answer is yes but the long answer was that there is no water in the pool so he isn’t getting wet. But he basically was looking like I’m an idiot because it wasn’t a simple yes or no. I always heard the horror stories of other vets, so we took the attitudes in place of care.

This is a great vet hospital.
Yes they are good at what they do. That's why they are very busy.
Reading some bad reviews just saddens me.
The staff is very nice. They to are busy doing their job. Everyone there do a great job . I too had to pay extra for my pet to be seen as exigency, I was ok with that. My cat need to be seen and if I had to take him to a e.r. hospital would had cost hundreds $$. I was more than happy to pay mph their fee to squeeze my pet in.
Mph is so busy cause their good.
If anyone wants to know a bad pet vet is Noah ark in Fort Wright.
That's why I switch to mph and so glad I did.
Dr Rosing is who seen my pets so far and he is great.

Super affordable (as far as vets go) and the staff is sooo kind! We also had Dr. Rosing as our vet, and I loved how he interacted with our dog.

Used to be a good place. Good luck trying to make an emergency appointment. Had to take out husky somewhere else last year to have her put down and it's looking like the same thing will happen this year with my lab.

Wouldn’t recommend. They have 0 empathy for other’s time. Always running late, always charging more. Definitely taking my pets somewhere else.

Great people and a great place. All the Doctors and staff know their stuff and really watch out for your pets! Could not be happier with them. Been going there about 8 years now.

I took my dog in earlier this week because he’s not been feeling well. They charged me double for the visit because it was an “urgent” visit, however they made me wait for an hour. I asked where I was in line and they finally took us back. I’m pretty sure I would have sat there all night had I not asked. This place has bit off more than they can chew. They can no longer provide adequate customer service because their clientele has gotten out of control. We’ve been going here for 10 years, and it’s sad how downhill this place has gone. We just had our last appointment there, will not be returning. If you are looking for good customer service and quality care for your pets, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I have read several negative reviews about this practice, and they ALWAYS have an excuse. Maybe acknowledge that you are in the wrong and do better! Lastly, reception staff is unfriendly and rude. Told them we would not be returning due to terrible customer service and they could have cared less. Super disappointed in this place.
