After my insurance company erroneously towed my car to a defunct address, and the first shop that received it intended to profit from my ambiguous brake failure without forming a solid conclusion otherwise, I contacted Charlie Lipps', and the owner himself towed it after-hours from northern Kentucky to Delhi. I'm new to Cincinnati and have only dealt with this business on one occasion, but I felt immediately that I had come to a trustworthy place. Charles really listens to your concerns and will tell you as best he can whatever you'd like to know--whether it's about how far along your vehicle is in the diagnostic process, or about the area.

CHARLIE LIPPS AUTO SERVICE has been working on my "cars" for over 12 years. I will go to no other auto service dealer. CHARLES LIPPS is the absolute best. My mother took her van down for a front end alignment they told her they couldn't do it till a lower control arm bushing was replaced they said they would fix it an would cost between 350-500 dollars depending . I couldn't believe what my mom told me so I called down an sure enough the guy told me the same thing . So I got a second opinion from a trusted mechanic an he confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the front end let alone a control arm bushing so I took the van to reliable big name shop and the alignment was done an perfect in less than an hour . Bottom line first an last time I ever go to charlie loops auto service

took in for electrical problem. they said it was fixed but quickly turned out it was not. they took out the new ignition part they installed and put the old working one back in and charged me $200. they are expensive, lack diagnostic ability and do not stand behind their work. if i wanted to guess what was wrong i could do that myself.
