Disappointed went in to get my brakes fixed spent $2400 and they still do the thing that I brought them in for. It was explained to me. But very disappointing. I feel like I got gypped.

I've used Ulmers twice now on my 2011 Sonata. First needing a new alternator in 2021 and then a complete brake job last week. Their customer service is THE BEST. I don't know any other company that mails you a card thanking you for the business. I will ALWAYS go to Ulmers for my car needs. They've gained a customer for life!

they did a great job Explaining things I needed and some I had been told I did but really did not need at that time. Reasonable prices. But must say, quoted me over 300 to 'get into my headlight to determine the repair costs. And took me $36 and 20 min to replace. Will definitely use them again!

After leaving my dealership maintaince team of many years i was in search for another Auto Care Team. I could never get in without a 2 hour or more wait time, for just an oil change. I took a chance with Ulmers and have been blown away....in a great way. I made an appointment to get my back brakes replaced...I was told they needed replaced by my previous dealership maintain team. I was called and told that I didn't need brakes for awhile yet. . So that saved me a big cost. Last week my car indicated I had a low tire. I stopped by and they checked my air and filled up my tire and checked all the others. With no appointment. They told me to come back if anything else happened and they would take care of me. Well yesterday it happened again. They fixed me up and called to update me along the way. Every time they have offered to drive me and pick me up. No one does that anymore. Once again adding to this sweet small town community that I love. I am a long term resident of Deer Park. Here we have a small town feel while surrounded by everything. Ulmers has added to that small town community presents. I will continue to take my business to these gentlemen. A group you can trust!!! Thanks guys.....

Extremely disappointed. I took my car in on a previous encounter and was happy with the work but not today. I took it in for new brake pads for the front and was told on the phone that the front brake pads needed replaced and the rears were at 5% left but I should look into replacing those as well. Nothing at all was stated about replacing the rotors on either the front or the rear otherwise I would have objected. So I agreed to do the front and rear brake pads. Needless to say I was shocked when I arrive to pick up my car and both front and rear rotors and pads were replaced and had to pay the $700 for something I did not want done. Very disappointed in this business.

Sean is the main man at Al's auto. I took my aging 2005 Impala here once it started falling apart on me and Sean was able to squeeze me in without an appointment the same day I called. He fixed a long standing problem I'd been having with my breaks/traction and made the car effectively drives again. After fixing it I noticed a new sound coming from my front left wheel when I was braking. He offered to let me bring it back free of charge and he fixed it straight away. Class act guy who knows what he's doing. Don't expect chain auto shop prices, just know that you get what you pay for with Al's
