About a month ago I dropped off my Yamaha s501 amp for repairs. Picked up today and just got a chance to listen to it. Sounds great, Job well done. Thanks Phil By the way the Yamaha sounds so much better than my Cambridge. Twice the punch in the low in. Don't get my wrong the Cambridge AXR 85 is good but Yamaha is .

I have had numerous pieces of electronics worked on here. Phil will tell you up front about his experience with your brand and usually apply your diagnostic charge to your bill. If you need a quick turnaround, AV isn't your place. It's a one man, hands on operation and each piece gets bench time, so expect 30 days +-. AV specializes in mid to high end audio. He shares space, easy to miss his door if you're not familiar.

Phil at AV Specialists checked out my vintage Adcom / Carver audio equipment to make sure all was well. He found a couple of minor problems and corrected them so now I'm comfortable putting these components back in service. And AV Specialists are very reasonable in their pricing. I highly recommend AV Specialists.

Brought in a vintage Pioneer sx 780 that I bought on Craigslist (I know)...with all the issues it had & parts needing ordered, this shop had it back in my hands in a few weeks working better than brand new. Very impressed. Customer service A++++!
