Suburban Auto replaced the timing belt and the water pump on an '04 VW Jetta in the time quoted. These guys are excellent mechanics who know their stuff. I highly recommend.

it seems like from what I can see another customer from Connecticut also met up with Dave after car trouble. Dave is honest and thoughtful, I had to leave the car behind as I was driving it to chicago for my son to use. My timing belt went out 4 months after being replaced by someone local where I live. Dave helped me get my car back home where the local service establishment will fix (after dave diagnosed, as the cause), My car was kept on his property without cost while my local guy arranged shipment back home. Cannot imagine having a better experience given the problems I had that day. Dave I owe you a ton.

Suburban has worked on my A4 several times and I have always found them the be straightforward and honest. The one time there were issues, they stood behind it and made it right.

Following a problem on the Ohio Turnpike, on our way to Chicago, our car had to be towed to Suburban Auto. What could have been a 2 or 3 day stay waiting for repairs was resolved in less than 24 hours. The service provided was exceptional and we greatly appreciate that Suburban realized the urgency of our situation. Highly recommended. J. Novak - Chicago, IL

While taking a cross country trip our vehicle overheated and the transmission fluid burned up and spilled over. It was 95 degrees on a Saturday afternoon and we were stranded. Hutch's towing towed us off the Ohio Turnpike and we stayed two nights at the Quality Inn across the street. I called Suburban Auto first thing Monday morning. Dave was very accommodating and got working on our vehicle right away. He was finished in just a few hours and did a very thorough job at flushing all the burnt gunk out of the car. When I thanked him for working so quickly he said he put himself in my shoes and thought how he'd want to get on his way home right away. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and empathy to our situation as I was still two days from home and had two children and a dog with me. The car worked just fine all the way back to Connecticut without incident. I got in to see my regular mechanic a few days later to check the vehicle over. He said Suburban Auto did a great job. Thanks again!

Owner was arrogant and temperamental as the previous reviewer described. Owner lied about work cost after we decided to proceed with work. AVOID!

Avoid. Bad customer service, owner was arrogant and temperamental. On top of it all, they are over priced. If you own a Volkswagen, you are much better off going to The Little German Village. Mark always does good, honest work for a fair price. He is often booked, so call early to schedule.
