I would give a negative star if I could! I took my dog there for grooming twice and each time I had to get a refund. The first time the cut was so uneven and completely butchered the manager was appalled at it and fixed the cut. This last time the groomer completely butchered my dogs tail and left bald spots throughout. When I called to complain the manager Jess told me to take my dog somewhere else for future service..... I said not a problem! 10/10 Do not recommend their service!

the grooming service is horrible. Jennifer cut my dog face down so low, his lip was pink. I called the store and they would only pick up the phone and hang up. I reached out to customer service to complain & still nobody had reached out to me. I will never spend money at petco again. My other dog was afraid to come to us and his backside was still dirty after his grooming. overall just a horrible experience and a waste of money.

I purchased a "female" Guinea pig from this Petco to be paired with my girl cavvy at home. My original pig is now pregnant. I am heartbroken and extremely pissed off with the idiots responsible for this. It is extremely careless and goes to show how uneducated the staff are. Do not sell animals if you cannot sex them properly. Better yet, don't sell them at all because you hire under-paid and under-qualified employees. Save yourself the grief and adopt from a qualified and reputable source.

The Vetco staff and veterinarians at the Petco vaccination clinics are always courteous and knowledgeable. The Vetco online staff customer service is very condescending and not helpful. Please try to handle all of your pet medication needs in person at the clinic because, dealing with the level of customer service through Vetco online will surely cause you anger and frustration.

I asked for my dog to be bathed. JayJay told me after I picked him up that such a service includes a complimentary nail grinding, a service that I never ordered. I picked up my dog and brought him home to find that his nail was ground to the point he was cut and bleeding. I will not be back.

Here we are a week after JJ botched my Myla Gurl up,yes I'm putting her name out there now,because after having time to reflect on how she did my baby,and not even an apology I'm still pissed.I took these pictures today and as I look at my fur baby who is still cute to me anyway,I'm thinking about how it'll look once it starts growing out.Just a chopped and uneven cut,her paws are also a damn mess.

On 8/7/22, my pet had a grooming appointment at your Beachwood location. He was dropped off at 3pm to groomer JJ. She told me it maybe a couple of hours and we confirmed my phone number.I never received a call. Therefore, at 6:40 pm I headed to the store. I arrived about 10 minutes before they closed and no one was in the grooming department. All the lights were off but the door was open so I went inside. I stood there waiting for several minutes thinking maybe they're in the back.Several minutes later a guy walked in and asked if he could help me. I asked for JJ and told him I was there to pick up my dog because no one called me. He goes in the back room turns on a light then brings my dog out.My little baby was shaking and looked EXTREMELY FRIGHTENED. OBVIOUSLY sitting in a DARK room ALONE for WHO KNOWS HOW LONG. He was there for FOUR HOURS and his hair was not even half cut. He smelled awful.I asked the guy why he was left alone and no one called me. I asked to speak with the manager. The cashier called him 4 times before he even arrived. I waited nearly 10 minutes before an extremely DISMISSIVE IDIOT came out to speak with me.I explained the situation and asked him why I was not contacted. Also why was he left alone for God knows how long. He's exactly words to me was "I was told you were called". Advised clearly, I was not called as I stated. They have no paperwork nor did they have any idea who I was. Again, why was he there for 4 hours, dirty, hair half cut, and LEFT IN A DARK ROOM ALONE.He told me let me call JJ and get her side of the story.AT THIS POINT I COULD NOT BE MORE PISSED OFF. #1 This guy is a complete idiot with no customer service skills. #2 If I arrived 10 minutes later or not at all my dog would've been left in a DARK ROOM ALL NIGHT. Did my dog have water? Did anyone even care that he's a living breathing being??? Clearly this is how Petco treats it's customers and they're family members.I asked for his name and the corporate phone number. The manager did not even have the decency to bring me the corporate phone number. He had the cashier bring me a post it with a corporate number and his name which was ineligible. Then he proceeded to check out customers.Also requested a phone call from the store manager or the manager of the grooming salon. It is now Monday evening and still no phone call. I'm demanding a phone call from your corporate office immediately this is ridiculous.

I had a terrible experience shopping here yesterday. They opened late, has missing stock and I got yelled at for asking about an item. Not a good crew of workers at all.

Just took our dog to the PetCo on Chagrin for grooming and I'm seriously concerned that the store is so understaffed that they might not be able to properly care for their animals. There's a cage full of at least 20 parakeets huddled together for warmth, with birdcrap all over and no clean water. The story is full of shipping boxes, some still unpacked, others laying open. The shelves are a mess. I saw a woman who I believe was the manager leaning against a ferret cage with her head in her hands. I understood that labor is in extreme short supply right now but this seems bad. Maybe they need to shut the doors for a bit. Just concerned about the animals.

I really appreciate the groomers for being patient and taking excellent care of Maxx he can be aggressive when getting his nails cut and that doesn't stop them from giving excellent service. Thank you ❤

Awful! The vet was rude and she felt rushed. She kept freaking out on her assistants and said she didn’t even want to see us. Absolute joke. Yes we know you have to moonlight to make extra money and PetCo isn’t paying you, but please be professional. Do your job and quit crying like a child.

I’ve been getting serviced by Vetco for years (8) to be exact.! Last time they didn’t show up when they were scheduled to come but i figured things happen . Now they’re doing it by appointment (COVID) and it’s still a disaster! Ppl sitting in their cars waiting past the scheduled appointment time . At this point it’s not worth the hassle , just pay regular price at a real Vet and get a real appointment. There’s a different veterinarian each time who seems as though they don’t want to be there . Vetco has declined significantly over the years !!!
