“One of the most amazing banks ever! Usually I get my account locked for withdrawing anything more than $2 at RBC bank and I'd have to literally climb the corporate ladder to the upper management just to get it unlocked. But with TD it's the most amazing freedom I could ever ask for! Lost my card and they replaced it immediately!!”
“I’ve visited the TD on Quinpool and been helped by Aathira and Stephanie a couple of times now. I am a student in my early twenties and have been entirely responsible for my finances for a relatively short amount of time. The idea of doing any kind of banking has always been extremely stressful to me, but both times they were very helpful, knowledgeable and made everything a lot more accessible, making my visits a lot easier.”
“Where it all started for The Bank of Nova Scotia in 1832. Of note they had offices in the Caribbean before they had a branch in Toronto. Lots of history in this building. Former head office before they moved it to Toronto. If you like old architect cure it is worth lookin at.”
“I like going into TD branch this is the one I go to all the time the people are so friendly and they're always right there to help you TD has been my bank for many years many many years and I don't plan on changing because of the service that I get there I know I can always go in and count on these people to give me a hand if I'm having a problem and they all seem to know their job extremely well”

“I went to this location to renew my debit card. Nicholas was so generous that he told me all details. Unfortunately I didn't bring my id proof with me( which is my fault ?). So be told me that either I can go back and bring my id again or he can send it via mail. So I went home and went back again. Then he processed my new debit card. I am so Happy with his service. Thank you Nicholas.”
“I have worked with different bank representatives in many parts of the world and my third bank in Canada is now RBC. Celine is by far the best bank representative I have ever met and she offers a service that is above world standards. She is a great professional. I went to RBC just to get information because of the bad comments written about RBC and she offered a great experience. I think she should educate other employees about how to provide a good Bank service to employees in branches with bad comments. Thank you so much Celine ??”
“Yesterday while waiting in line at the RBC Almond street branch I witnessed an act of kindness that I feel compelled to acknowledge. An elderly gentlemen was visiting the RBC branch for his regular banking. He was seated across from the teller and was having difficulty expressing his needs and accessing his banking information. The teller whose name I dont know was extremely patient and kind. It was obvious the teller had assisted this gentleman in the past and was familair with his needs. Many of us in the line listened and smiled as we overheard the teller going above and beyond to assist in this situation. When the gentleman had finished his banking the teller came from behind the desk to help the gentleman zipper his coat and stand up. The elderly gentleman used a walker and when he began to walk away the teller noticed his shoe lace was untied. The teller immediately caught up to the gentleman and bent down and tied his shoe so that he would not trip. The Teller then turned to us to welcome the next person in line. In todays world were so many of us our quick to complain I didnt want this act of kindness to go unnoticed.”
“Today, we visited the CIBC Spring Garden branch to open a savings account. Ms. Migas guided us through the various plans and recommended the most advantageous savings account and credit card. She ensured that all our details matched the documents, which will speed up the credit card processing. She was truly excellent!”
“I really like the response from the staff. Please allow me to describe the situation here. I returned to Halifax recently. After being away for almost three years, my debit card was expired. The staff understood my situation and provided new debit cards instantly. Fortunately I had old debit cards with me. I even did not have access to my old mail box. I really thank the staff in order to act quicky and be so nice n kind. Please continue to keep up the good work as you always do. I am very thankful to the staff for instant help.”

“In person the service is excellent. There is a teller there that i consider the best. And the phone service, once i get a teller, is excellent. My issue is business phone machines. First of all one of the options should be to speak with a teller for "other" reasons for calling, immediately (within a few seconds) of hearing other options out of respect for every one's time. (i.e. processing volume of callers a minute earlier is good... probably).- voice recognition is still garbage. button prompts make sense.- the machine voice shouldn't have an "advertising" or "outgoing" tone to it, this is rude. The tone sucks.- the machine process should respect the listener by not running ads constantly and selecting a modest volume to stay true to. Instead we have insipid music and then a much louder RBC ad layered over the music while you wait. This is very disrespectful. I'm not offended, i'm just tellin ya common sense.- customer service via phone has fallen off for every business i've interacted with. The culprit seems to be a lack of design values with machine services, which comes off as lack of respect for the customer. It's just sloppy design with greed to sell, disregard for people while handling volume. But design can make it nicer instead of loud, rude, annoying. Selecting better music isn't something you can teach, restraining yourself to have less useless advertisements (it's free so it doesn't hurt, right?), and quieter tones, not volume, the tone. A little more "japanese" could do us some good. Embrace restraint and smoothness in your design.”
“Ppl need to understand that if they come during their 30min lunch time, there is prob going to be a long line. No need to be rude to bank tellers who are just doing their job. One of the tellers, Debbie, was very professional. I saw so many customers being rude to her for no reason but she handled it very well. Giver her a raise or sth cuz if i was her i would be stressing out every day. Idk how she does it!!!”
