Sat in the lobby for 15 minutes without being acknowledged so I downloaded their app to see if I needed to request a spot in line and the app said that all spots were filled. In the 25 minutes I sat there I witnessed several people come in and leave. Will never use a sports clips after my visit here.

Wait times are ridiculous, check in online RIGHT when it opens and still ends up being a 3+ hour wait, get there when it says to and end up having to wait another 2+ hours. You have to plan your entire day around a 15 minute haircut.

I don't know man, they were closed inside of they're operating time when I tried to see them last. Other than that it's been a few years, and I imagine the economic situation and Staffing is affected everything. Otherwise, a few years ago it was legit. They are quick to do quality haircut and it's reasonably priced on par with any other place I suppose, and it was very popular to the point where you probably wouldn't want to do a walk in, because you could be waiting possibly up to 45 minutes. The cool thing is they have a system where they will call you on your phone, wherever you may be in the area to let you know minutes ahead of time that you're ready to be seen. So maybe it still works that way I suppose. Can't give a great reading but I can't give a bad one either. When you're in a pinch and you need your haircut later in the day and everything is closed, try out the JCPenney salon they cut women and men's hair... they're the only thing cracking when everyone else quit.

Grand Forks is decent for the Haircuts. However, poorly managed. People wait for 30 mins outside waiting for it to open because only 1 person is staffed in the morning and the wait is terribly long. Could easily double in profits by adding another employee.

As many others have stated, the online check in is a joke and it is just about impossible to get a haircut unless you have time to wait around all day. I checked in my husband in online over 1.5 hours before the suggested time to come in. Even arrived early and the app popped up to check in as soon as we got in the parking lot. Upon arrival the stylist at the front said, 'it should only be a few minutes'... I left to do an errand and my husband waited patiently for nearly an HOUR with the wait time getting longer and longer (I was also getting automated texts on my phone from the app saying 'you're up next' ... but he let me know that he had still not been seen). It was not that busy there either. Meanwhile another man walked in and got right to the back after coming in the front door. Eventually he could not wait any longer as he had to leave for another appointment. In all over an hour and a half wasted (and no haircut to show for it!) even though we had done all the correct things and used the app and had his name up on the board as checked in. I understand the times are not an 'appointment' but it seemed as if the app has NO correlation with what is actually happening inside the salon and had we known it would be such a long wait we would not have come in nor used the app. I don't think we'll be back to this location and I hope to warn others... set aside your entire afternoon if you actually want a haircut!

The store needs to fix the glitches in the online check in. The software will kick you off the list if you don't show up within "30 minutes of your estimated arrival time" quoted when you first make the reservation, even if you're 10th on the list and have an hour left of actual estimated waiting time.

The phone here must be non existent bc every day for the last two months I’ve been calling to ask a simple question but the line is always busy. Would not recommend going to get a haircut from somewhere that can’t even answer the phone.Service: Haircut

You can never get in. It’ll be 12:05 right at time to check in and some how they already are booked. Dispite saying clearly on website that they don’t do appointments apearantly they are cause there is no way that they can be booked that fast and you go into the store nobody is there and they turn you away.

I swear someone has a bot flooding their online check-in. I've never seen the list so constantly full at any other Sports Clips, but if you go there, few of the online sign-ups seem to show up.

I came in on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 around 5:30 pm. I had tried using online check in, but where it shows the wait time, it said "Info" and next to that, it clearly said when the word "Info" appears, it means walk-ins are welcome. When I showed up, I checked in by putting my phone number in the computer, and it put me 7th in line with the people ahead of me having listed wait times of well more than an hour. I stopped back in about 10 minutes later to check my status on line, and I was told by an employee to come back around 6:15 pm. Based on the wait times it listed for the people ahead of me, I would be still waiting a while when I got back. When I came back at 6:15 pm as instructed, but I was told by another employee that I could not be taken that day. When I asked why it said walk-ins were welcome, and why one of her coworkers told me to come back at 6:15 pm so I could be seen as I checked in, she told me "corporate" puts walk-ins welcome when they should not, and her coworker should not have told me to come back at 6:15 pm because they were actually booked for the day. While I was having this discussion, someone else came in believing he used their reservation system properly, but he apparently did not and he was turned away. She said she felt bad, and she told me her manager would call me the following morning and she was going to recommend to her manager that I should receive a free haircut because of my bad experience and I would not have to wait their typical three hour wait time to get it. Today is Saturday, February 11th, 2023, and I have not yet received any communication from them.In reality, I do not want their free labor, I just wanted a good experience. They seem incapable of providing such a thing. They need to hire more people so their wait times are not consistently 3+ hours, (they were only using one or two out of their nine or so chairs they have when I was there), and they need to have a check-in system that more accurately reflects how they actually operate.I am not saying I will not go back there, I am saying they are making it nearly impossible for anyone to be a customer there. I couldn't be a customer there even if I tried. If they ever decide they actually want to have customers by hiring enough staff and making their reservation system reflect how they operate, I will come back.

Excellent customer service and Excellent haircut! I walked in and they were able to fit me right in to their schedule. Had the "Deluxe" with the hair wash/hot towel/scalp and shoulder massage. Totally worth it, Highly recommend.Services: Haircut
