Not sure why I don't visit more often. They have a great layout in the store and a great a great selection of products. Very impressed with the men's department. Great brand names and not the same boring Walmart selection. Both regular men's and big/tall. Wide variety of kitchen and pet products as well. Can't beat the Kohls cash program as well.

Shopping at the Grand Forks, North Dakota Kohl's Store was a very pleasant experience. Selection was great and the employees were friendly and helpful. It will be a regular stop on all my Grand Forks shopping excursions.

I met the store's plainclothes security guard, today. I guess they are allowed to lie and probably even encouraged to do so, if you ask them if they are store security. It's a tough challenge to expect courtesy from a police officer or former police officer. Those guys are supposed to be arrogant jerks. The attitude just comes with the territory.I wonder if the store manager can check in with him and ask him he has considered making an attempt to be humble or courteous or sincere and what his feelings are on those first few, scary steps towards kindness. Is he for it or against it? I guess the attitude of the employees is, as long as he treat us nicely, then who cares how he treats the customers. So, he is sort of their hired gun, they get to treat certain customers that they don't like the way they look with suspicion, and yet the employees get to keep their conscience spotlessly clean.This idea of forming alliances, while I'm sure it must be amusing for the employees, leaves me with a strong feeling of disappointment about the nature of some of the employees in this store.In order for them to properly contradict me, in their response, I think they would have to tell me their security procedures as well as tell me who is posting the response. Someone at corporate headquarters? This just seems like the kind of thing that a company would lie about.

The store’s air is stagnant and too warm. The fitting rooms are dirty and did not appear to be mopped in weeks.

I visited the Grand Forks store and came across a picture I thought was really nice, caught my eye. I asked if it was going to be marked down and was advised there will be a further price reduction Monday. I asked Jake if they would give me the mark down a day earlier as I was travelling and leaving town. After checking with the Brandon, the manager, they gave me the price reduction a day early. Thank you, it was a real time saver for me and much appreciated. Friendly helpful staff and great customer service. Thanks again.
