I visited your store Thursday. I recently hurt my foot and using crutches. Your employee, Thomas, was so sweet and helpful. He got me a scooter ready, put my crutches up for safe keeping while I shopped, and followed me to my vehicle to take the scooter back. All the other employees just looked at me and went their own way. He deserves to be recognized in some way.

I'm getting so I hate to go into this store, but unfortunately it's our ONLY local grocery store. But, just about every time I go into Food Lion in Yanceyville, I leave smelling like burnt grease from whatever they're cooking in the deli! It not only gets in my clothes, but it's very nauseating!?So, I have to strategically plan to shop either early in the morning or late in the evening. Also, it seems they're slipping in other areas, too! The refrigerator case where the chicken is apparently needs to be cleaned or they need to locate the rotten chicken! This morning, it STINKS like crazy!? I told someone in the meat department and he just looked at me and said okay!?? In produce, I found a couple bags of potatoes with a potato or two in each that were rotten to the point of mushiness!?? Today's experience with Food Lion made me glad that I'd gotten most of my groceries elsewhere this time, but just needed a few items there! It's bad enough that grocery prices are ridiculous everywhere, so stores could at least try to make the rest of your shopping experience pleasant! Yanceyville Food Lion PLEASE Do Better!!
