The help is very delightful and the help was very appreciated. One thing that bothered me was that on the form to fill out when you first arrived does not have a place for Native Americans???? It only had black white and Hispanic??? Like what?? I think this is very serious and needs to be changed with Native Americans added in, that really blew my mind!

Had an insightful tour of the Harrelson Center led by Chrisy Alley. The campus continues to evolve and increasingly incorporate new nonprofits that offer hope, encouragement, and practical real world help to people in New Hanover and surrounding counties. It really is an amazing place that has concentrated just about all the humanitarian and service organizations that are needed to navigate todays changing needs. Over 40 different on site organizations help link folks up with services such as crisis response, housing, health & wellness, disability & special needs, career development, food security, childhood & family support, and more. If you, a friend, or neighbor need assistance I encourage you to contact them to get started. If you are an individual with skills and time to volunteer, I also encourage you to contact the Harrelson Center to find out how you can become part of this exciting place.

This is a very helpful place! Catholic Charities helped me with my needs while I was Homeless as well as the people in other areas in the Harrelson Center did with dig food for my service dog! Thank you
