All went well with the rental process with exception that I was informed at the end they require an insurance fee tacked on to the advertised rate.? In my case I was required to pay an additional $17.00 bucks per month for a 10x10 unit. My advice is to read the fine print. Not saying it’s not there but I didn’t see it.

We mostly come & go without speaking to them.
The space & ease of getting in and out is great! The unit is great!

They started My first month on the day I called in to make the reservation rather than the day I was scheduled to bring my RV to the facility. Customer service would not rectify those days on my bill. After my review, they corrected the problem.

I came from an outside unit at another storage unit facility and eventually it got to the point where I was always scared to go into my unit and go through my stuff because of the bug problems. I felt helpless but my friend told me about their unit, it was time to make the switch. I am so thankful for Prime storage, not only do I pay less but I have an inside climate controlled unit that I’m always overjoyed when I open it up! No bugs, all clean, and neat, just the way I left it. They were also very flexible with me and helped me lock in my price which I appreciate. It’s hard to find good, reliable storage but I don’t have to worry anymore.

We have had a total of 3 units here and finally emptied the last one. Very helpful staff. It got more expensive as time went by which inspired us to empty the last one! We would definitely use them again as it was convenient and well maintained. Climate control is the way to go in the hot humid Wilmington weather.

My experience was okay I'm 14 years with this storage place and but they didn't take care of my my furnishings in my belongings the gutters were not checked on on monthly basis and all my stuff was was damaged and I had to throw away a lot of stuff pictures clothes things of that nature the people are pretty decent

I rented a parking space with Prime Storage, 5044 Carolina Beach Rd Wilmington NC starting 5/23 until 10/24. I ended my lease because the lease clearly states that you have 5 days after your due date to make your payment before a late charge is applied. My due date was on the 12th, so 5 days would be the 17th, NOT the 16th. I called the location and the person I talked to told me 5 days is the 16th but in the real world 12+5=17 not sure what math this company learned but it definitely isn't the math that we all learned in 3rd grade. How many people have they ripped off this way?? I tried to contact headquarters and got routed to another location, instead, where the lady pacified me and told me she was going to email the general manager and they would contact me within 48 hours that was a month ago, lol.

Have only been renting space for two months. I received a letter two days ago stating my rent was going up. Bait and switch scam. I’ll be leaving as soon as space becomes available at another location.

Facility is properly maintained and staff is professional and courteous. However, after 3 months, got hit with a $40/month increase (31%). I appreciate that businesses sometimes need to increase prices but 31% is excessive.

I had a great experience at Prime Storage thanks to Dominique! She was incredibly helpful and made the entire rental process smooth and easy. The facility is clean and secure, and Dominique’s friendly service made all the difference. Highly recommend!
